About This Listing
Massive Brooklyn Brownstone! Prime Fort Greene location: steps away from 11 subway lines, Barclays Center, Park Slope, Bourem Hill, Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights! Read detailed description for details.
I am moving to a bigger, even better place that is even closer to all the subways in the heart of Brooklyn. Move in date is May 1, so I don’t have pictures yet, but please see the images of my current place to get a sense of style and read my reviews. I’m offering discounted rates for May as I’ll be unpacking and decorating this fabulous historic brownstone. Your room will be ready for you. I’ll be updating this listing with new images as the beauty takes shape!
You’ll be staying in a historic Brooklyn brownstone showcasing much of its original architectural design elements such as high tin ceilings, original wood floors throughout most, and beautiful curved staircases. Relax in a huge living room drenched with natural sunlight and formal dining room with a communal table after your fun filled day out and about NYC. You will stay in one of three guest rooms (if the date you want is gone, another room might be available- check out the three separate listings-Best Location: Every Subway Here 1 and 2 and 3). Each room has a closet, double bed, and nightstand.
There is one full bathroom (hey- I told you it’s an original brownstone) on the top floor, and a half bath on the main floor. You are welcome to use the kitchen as you like and enjoy your morning coffee on our fabulous patio! There is also a yard!
Interaction with Guests
I hope that most of your questions are answered here. I am always available for any other questions. I encourage all my guests to take the bull by the horns and explore! My roommate, Tamara has a small dog who doesn't bark and is very sweet. Ziggy will never be in the bedrooms.

NQBD are express and skip all of downtown Manhattan, getting you to Times Square in only 15 min. Or maybe you want to spend the day in hip Williamsburg? G train is on a 2 minute walk away.

Keep the street off your feet. Kindly remove your shoes before entering the apartment and place them in the shoe bin.
Keep kitchen clean. Hand wash pans and cooking utensils. Place pre-rinsed dishes, cutlery, and glasses in dishwasher. Place a paper towel over microwaved items to prevent splashing. Place trash in appropriate bins.
Clean up your bathroom mess, i.e. the toilet rim and hair sitting on the drain- no one wants to see it.
The sheets are clean- I promise- so sleep between them, not on top of the white comforter. Remember, your luggage has been wheeled through the same stuff your shoes has, so please don't put your luggage on top of the white comforter.
No eating food on the couch.
Please take precaution not to damage the furniture- use coasters under glasses and don't throw sharp objects (like keys) on surfaces.
Turn off heat or AC when leaving the apartment.
Turn off lights (make sure the dimmers “click” off) when not in use.
The listing was everything I hoped it to be! The location is really right off the Lafayette C, which made getting here from LaGuardia so easy. Marcia was a delight, she made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived! She was a great host, readily attentive yet open enough to let me explore what New York has to offer. The room I stayed in faced the street and it was great to hear the ambient sounds of New York. The building was a traditional Fort Greene brownstone so I felt incredibly cozy. There's amazing food, coffee, and public space to relax just minutes from the door. It's a no-brainer to choose this place as your place to stay in New York!
The bed was soft and comfortable. Marcia Is organized and keep every thing clean. We had a little trouble finding the place, because the airbnb website provided the wrong address.
The apartment has a sweet decoration. Marcia has been a nice and good host!
