Other Things to Note
International Guests: ask about using our wifi hotspot while you're visiting to avoid roaming international data charges.
Be nice, be clean, and be happy :)
Well the new off ramp is directly in front of the apartment, but no noise from it. Need 2 sets of keys, wash clothes(we bought and left them so that should be taken care of), glasses-had to use coffee cups for everything no wine or regular glasses. Bed very comfortable nice and firm. Relatively clean the floor boards need wiping. Better for a 20-something than older folks.
Rich was an awesome host. He was fun to chat with, and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although the unit is near a freeway offramp we were never distrubed by noise. In fact it was extremely quiet.
The room and bathroom were clean. The location is convenient, just a short walk to everything.
We had a wonderful time in San Francisco staying at Ash's apartment. Recommendations, tips etc. were provided for things to see, places to eat and we were also given referrals for uber. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. Highly recommended!
The neighborhood was phenomenal, the apartment (and particularly my bedroom and bathroom) were just as advertised, and my host was very welcoming! 10 out of 10 would stay there again.
I very much enjoyed my one-night stay. Host was very friendly, accommodating and we had a great chat about startups. Lots of good food place in the vicinity. I was happy to find parking on the street too. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a great location to stay at and convenient for getting around in SF. The room was big and the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was good with everything you need provided. The loft itself was big and spacious and whilst Ash wasn't there when I stayed, his housemate Rich made me feel welcome and recommended great places for me to go. Rich also lent me a portable wifi hotspot, which as I was travelling internationally was really amazingly useful given international data roaming charges.
The one negative for me were the large double frosted glass doors to the living room from the bedroom - whilst not completely see-through they let in a lot of light and made it feel not so private. This was not so much an issue for me but if you are keen on your privacy bear this in mind when booking!
