Our hosts Jeana and Hartmut are the best hosts one can hope for, as they are intelligent, alert to guests' needs, and very friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and are very knowledgeable about the area, therefore were able to make great outing suggestions. The neighborhood is great for walking and close to markets, restaurants, bank, and public transportation at walking distances. Their garden has monkeys, birds and iguanas visiting the flowers and coconut trees. The breakfast they serve is beautiful and second to none. The home is kept very clean, with much attention given to details. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when in Natal.

Welcomed our family with open arms and a smile we won't forget.

We are really glad we stayed with Jeane and Helmut! Their place is a little tropical paradise filled with decorations from their travels. You can tell that Jeane and Helmut enjoy hosting people, they made us a wonderful breakfast and we had many engaging conversations. Helmut also drove us to a great local restaurant and Jeane walked us to the large supermarket nearby and gave us a tour. Make sure you bring a map of the location, our taxi driver took a while to find the place, he did not seem to read the excellent directions that Jeane sent in advance.

My hosts, Jeane and Hartmut, were great! I was in Natal for the USA vs. Ghana World Cup game and they constantly updated me on the weather, the airport and gave great advice on obtaining transportation. Their home is lovely with a beautiful garden and quite comfortable. Unfortunately for me, the one day I stayed with them there was a tremendous downpour and many of the streets were flooded. Hartmut very kindly offered me a ride through flooded streets to meet my travel companions. The heavy rain prevented me from exploring the neighborhood (June is in the rainy season). But Hartmut directed me to a local bar/restaurant where I had a great meal. Jeane and Hartmut made me feel very comfortable and the breakfast they provided was outstanding--one of the best I've ever had at a B&B! Although Jeane doesn't speak much English, her husband, Hartmut, does, and they both also speak German. Communicating was not a problem. The room was very comfortable, clean and utilitarian. My only quibble is that the hot water in the shower was a bit difficult to turn on and it wasn't all that warm. Otherwise, I couldn't have been treated better and without hesitation would recommend them to one and all who visit Natal.

Response from Jeane:
Guy, thks for staying with us and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us .If you would have told us immediately , that you were not satisfied with the watertemperature , we would have switched the electric shower to winter position. With an outside temperature of 30 degrees celsius (86 fahrenheit) we couldn,t imagine that somebody might wish very hot water. As the other hosts were satisfied with the water temperature, we left the shower head position on "summer". Sorry, on your next visit you will enjoy hot water too,

I came to Natal with a friend and stayed with Jeane and her husband. Everything went amazing. It was a really good beginning to our stay in Natal. They were very generous people willing to help when they could. For example, if they had the chance/time to take us to the beach, they would (rather than going through the trouble of getting a taxi). Breakfast was also very good. They even let me cut a coconut from their tree :) Their stories are also pretty cool to listen to...even inspiring. Anyway,I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or anyone else!

Jeane and Hartmut truly understand what Airbnb is about. My cousin and I had the best experience ever as they were extremely kind and hospitable. We especially enjoyed the huge, amazing breakfast they prepared every morning and the excursions we went on. We can say we really saw Natal, both the city and rural surrounding areas. Their home is clean and beautiful, close to Ponta Negra beach. I'll undoubtedly return to visit them as they are such fun people!

We spent only two nights in Natal which was a bit short. But we had a great time. Jeane and Hartmut were extremly helpful and welcoming. They even provided a shuttle service to the beach. Jeane prepared a delicious 5star breakfast for us. The accomodation is very clean and in safe neighborhood with a lovely samba bar closeby. We highly recommend this place.
