Welcome to nationally-registered historic landmark Nelson Salisbury House, built in 1873. An example of American Italianate architecture, the house is steeped in local history. Close to lakes, parks, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater campus, & downtown restaurants. Abandoned for years, our family is bringing the old house back to life so it's not fancy, but it is authentic. Stay here if you want to experience the uniqueness of a quirky old house complete with trundle bed & lots of artwork.
