Before we start can I just say YOU NEED TRANSPORT if your going to stay here - that's why its cheap. Most people rent bikes for $5 a day. We are NOT on Seminyak beach but only a 5 - 10 min bike ride away depending which way you go. It is exactly 2.7km from Seminyak shops and 3.5km from Seminyak Beach. The apartments are located in KEROBOKAN.
This brand new studio apartment located in the Kerobokan area being 5 minute bike ride from Seminyak shops and restaurants, is a great place for a short or extended stay in Bali. The apartment has free wifi access, aircon, cable tv, dvd, sofa, dining table, microwave, fridge and luxury furnishings. Weekly rate includes 1 time per week maid service and linen/towel change. The bathroom is large and luxurious.
There are so many things to do and see in the Seminyak area. Seminyak is having a love affair with rooftops. And why not, when the weather is this good? SOS Supper Club, on the roof of Anantara Seminyak hotel, is the leader of the pack, with nightly DJs and unfettered views of the Indian Ocean. Book a table under the stars for a steak dinner or flop on a day bed to snack and watch the stars come out with a Bali Classic in hand (strawberry, lime, cranberry, lychee with pomegranate juice and sparkling wine) or a pitcher of SOS punch. South Bali is blessed with sunsets over the water and the cheapest entertainment in town is a walk along the long stretch of Seminyak beach at 6pm. On the way, you can buy drinks, hire a surfboard, rent a sun lounger or just park on the sand to watch the golden sun dip down over the Indian Ocean. Sunday is the day off for most workers in Bali, and everyone heads to the beach. Pop down late afternoon to see a slice of local life, from kite flying to beach soccer and plenty of perambulating. Pura Petitenget is just beside the beach, and the quiet, well-maintained Hindu temple gives respite from the traffic below. Don your sarong, wrapped over trousers, and visit just before sunset when the light catches the mossy sculptures for a quintessentially Balinese moment. The island's best fashion is found in Seminyak, with beautiful, often handmade clothes at a price you'll never find elsewhere
I arrived very early in the morning & my driver was there which was really great. The staff are helpful when requiring taxies to get you to where you need to be.
You need a taxi every day unless you ride a bike & when you do get taxies they get lost every single time.
The place is not that clean the shower water not warm & you are not given any water on arrival so make sure you take some when you arrive as you are in the middle of know where, this place maybe ok for some but not for me. I emailed Brad with no response which I thought was unprofessional. I ended up leaving after 2 days & staying in Seminyak in a hotel right where you want to be for $10 less a night. Perfect.
If you wanted a HOTEL in Seminyak THATS WHAT you should have booked, Mine is a self contained apartment in Kerobokan and I told you that a bike was needed before you booked and what you said to me was that if that is what everyone does so will you. Perfectly simple. We sell water for 50 cents a bottle you could have bought....
