Our one bedroom garden suite is located steps away from East Village where you can find all the amenities, a short distance to Commercial Drive (Vancouver's little Italy) and close to all major bus routes to downtown and the North Shore. Enjoy a comfortable stay in a great location.
Our suite is newly renovated and freshly painted. A great place to stay for short or long term. It is bright, spacious and very private.
Unlike the map shown we are located on a residential street with much less traffic then this intersection. Although our street does receive some overflow traffic at rush hour, its pretty minimal.
You'll enter the suite from the front garden into the living room. There is modern comfortable furnishings and WiFi throughout the apartment. The couch is comfortable to sleep on and there is lots of space to lounge with a good book or relax in the morning with a cup of coffee. We provide local newspapers to browse and get a sense of the city and to find out about local events.
The bedroom is very comfortable with a full closet, queen size pillow top bed and tall boy dresser to make you feel at home. There is a blackout curtain in case you would like to rest during the day after a long flight. Fresh cotton sheets and extra blankets and pillows are found in the closet for your comfort.
There is a spacious kitchen equipped with an electric range, stainless steel fridge with ice/water dispenser, blender, toaster, coffee maker, kettle and is stocked with everything that you would need. A table that can comfortably seat three can also expand to accommodate more.
The bathroom has a small deep soaker tub and comes stocked with fresh linens, hand soap and a hair dryer. Please note that this is a lower suite and there are some sections with lower than standard ceilings.
Out the back door, you enter the laundry room where you will find a front loading washer and dryer. The linen closet is stocked with laundry soap, an iron, clean linens and any other extra items you may need to have a comfortable stay.
We look forward to meeting you and providing you with a welcoming stay in Vancouver.
Additional Amenities Include:
-4 burner electric range/oven, refrigerator with ice dispenser
-toaster, blender, coffee maker, kettle

Our family lives upstairs. We have one toddler and an eight year old. We are quiet but do rise early (7am) and go to bed early (8pm) - at least our kids do! The sound proofing between floors is fairly good except you may hear our son crawling as he is a little heavy on his hands and knees when he gets excited but for the most part we are out at the park or beach and home for naps and snacks, so the house is most often quiet and peaceful. Our son's room is above the laundry room (opposite end of where the bedroom is in the garden suite) so if he did happen to cry in the night you wouldn't hear it. We ask guests to stay only if they are hoping to have a quiet retreat as late night parties, loud visiting and/or music etc. don't suit us or our neighbours.
We do usually stay close to home so we are happy to help in any way by answering questions or giving you directions.

Definitely enjoyed my stay:
Everything was as described or as seen on the pictures.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the kitchen well equipped. Easy to find and frequent bus service to downtown is just a few steps away.
Would recommend this place to a friend.
A beautiful apartment at a great location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get to by public transportation from the airport. Enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, the sitting area and the serenity of the neighborhood, Jessica is friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for sharing your space!
The place is great - spacious and nice, with an independent door - located is a residential area and close to various bus stops and markets in case you need groceries. At night you won´t be disturbed by any noises, but probably feel some steps and the kids playing throughout the day on the floor above. Thanks for everything!
We were able to check in early which was a plus. The place was perfect for my small family and convenient to downtown Vancouver. She offered her washer and dryer which was also very helpful after being in Alaska for a week. Great place for the price paid. Thank you for having us!
Our stay was wonderful and we found the location was very close to everything. We had our own entrance and everything we needed. Jessica, our host, was even able to accommodate a last minute stay request when we ran into a little trouble with our passports (forgetting them back in Winnipeg!). Jessica was also great at responding to our messages very quickly and ensuring we had everything we needed. Please note, this is a basement suite with people living upstairs. You might hear them from time to time but only during the day and only in the living room. Jessica is also very clear about this in her description of the space available.
The flat is beautiful and nicely arranged, there is loads of space and the kitchen is well equiped. A great place to stay! Easy to get into the centre of Vancouver by bus too.
Drawn to the mountains and seaside, Jessica loves the natural beauty of BC and has called Vancouver home for eight years.
After studying environmental studies on Vancouver island she made her way over to Vancouver to study photography.
A love for art, travel, food, music, gardening and yoga, Jessica finds Vancouver suits her. Although she has many pursuits and ambitions, right now Jessica is focused primarily on being a mother to her two beautiful kids.
