Check In
  • Michael's place was perfect for my stay in Chapel Hill: A quiet place that was a short walk to the campus. Michael provided plenty of information that made it easy to find his place and it was a comfortable spot to stay in. And coming home to be greeted by a deer on a few of the nights was quite a pleasant surprise. If I come back to Chapel Hill, I would definitely stay there again.

  • Private and close to the University. Was surprised each morning to wake up and see the deer! Michael gave plenty of privacy and also had great communication to know he was there if need. Certainly recommend.

  • A lovely, quiet, cosy house, very convenient to Franklin St. and UNC. clean, with parking and all the amenities. Michael is a delightful host. And yes, there really are deer that come into the yard.

  • Michael's place was cute, cozy and comfortable. We had a lovely stay, and he gave my friend and I some great recommendations for hiking and eating in the area. Extra bonus for how affordable it was.

  • We had a great time! Michael was out of town, but he left us instructions on how to get there and how to get in. It was very comfortable and convenient to downtown. Hope to do it again if ever in Chapel Hill!

  • Michael was a wonderful host. The house would have been difficult to find but Michael left great directions and even sent along pictures to help us find our way. The house is within walking distance to Franklin Street, and offered our group convenient access to the Homecoming weekend festivities. I would absolutely recommend staying here in the future.

  • We were in town to see our daughter who is a freshman at Chapel Hill and the accommodations were just what we needed. We were able to fit two twin mattresses (one at the foot of the bed and one along the side of the bed) into the main bedroom in order to sleep with our two kids. The kids played ball in the yard when we were there and it was nice to have a living room/bathroom and kitchen with a family. We also saw deer in the back yard on both days - that was a treat. This was a great little place close to Franklin Street at a great price. Michael was very nice and communicated with us in a timely and professional manner. Thank you Michael for letting us stay in your home!

I am a medical student at UNC and I do cancer biology research. I spend too much time in the library studying, and when I'm not doing that, I'm usually in the mountains, on my bike, or playing soccer. I'm a respectful quiet guest and a gracious host. I enjoy traveling and I try to explore new and adventurous places. I grew up in Arizona and have been in Chapel HIll for about five years. I love the small-town feel of Chapel Hill combined with the world-class research environment of UNC.
