Interaction with guests

I try to not be present so that you have your own space and environment I send you lots of info on the area and suggested trips, and things to while in town

The neighborhood

Pass-a-Grille (the southern tip of St Pete Beach) has a quaint downtown and brightly colored cottages are reminiscent of artist's colonies. Today, its galleries, restaurants draw Floridians and visitors from all over the world. Safe, clean, quaint "laid back from way back" very cute 1920's turning modern historic beach town.

Getting around

I provide 2 bikes for your stay

Other things to note

Considered the sunset capital of Florida and listed as one of the Top Beaches in the World Pass-a-Grille/ St Pete Beach has typically flat water, white sand and shells backed by waving dunes of sea oats and palm trees. The neighborhood has colorful cottages most built in the 1920's on an island only 5 house wide. There are 10 restaurants in walking distance and the house comes with two beach cruiser bikes so cars are not needed. The gradual drop-off of the firm sand into the low waves makes for nice swimming for kids and miles of excellent walking or jogging at sunrise or sunset. Sunset sails, horseback riding on the beach, boat & wave runner rentals or fishing and golf are all close by- just ask me if you are interested in something locally! No Parties only for individuals looking for a relaxing quiet get a way with or without just one car.

The house was beautifully decorated and updated. The beach was just steps away as described. Lisa's House Manual was detailed and thorough. The couch bed was ok, but a bit springy. Those sleeping there put the mattress on the floor the second night and slept better. Although the Kitchen and Bath windows don't lock, we didn't have a lot of valuables to store. Still, a combination safe might be an easy way to remedy any nervous visitors. Other than that, we loved the little beach house! It's our favorite beach and now our favorite airbnb.

Greetings! I love welcoming people to my home town and my home in Pass-a-Grille Beach. I practice Industrial Psychology and I enjoy meeting or talking to people and helping people with ideas when they are visiting my hometown! I also work as a realtor (in case you are looking at places when you are in town I can help) and I am a mom to a pretty amazing teenager. My husband and I also own a retail store in St Petersburg. For fun we love to travel, see new sights, and exercise. I have completed 8 Ironman races (nothing fast- just steady). We have two dogs (poodle and a golden retriever) and we try to live simply by enjoying all the wonderful activities in our area. I have lived in many places including, Arizona, New York City, Connecticut, (Fairfield county) and NY (Westchester County). However, I love my childhood home & area and I am thrilled to share it with you. When you book I will send you details about places to see and things to do in the St Pete area so you can create fantastic memories and Live Like a Local! I hope you love it as mush as I do! Let me know if you have any special questions or things you want to see from manatees to museums we have it all! :-) -Lisa
