Lovely suite in a secluded and very quiet neighborhood. This get-away includes a living space with queen bed, kitchenette and private bathroom with large tub/shower. A separate bedroom with queen bed, connected to the suite, is available for an additional $15 per night. .
The small kitchenette is meant for take-out and very simple meals - vacation style! It includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and tea/coffee making supplies with fresh water. Plates, silverware, glasses, mugs and wine glasses are provided. There is no sink in this area, but there are two sinks in the bathroom.
The suite is part of a private home and has a separate entrance with a patio and outside seating. The property is surrounded by privacy with many mature trees and open spaces with a real country feel.
While the location feels like country living, this suite is right in the south end of town near SOU and the bike path with shopping, groceries, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Downtown and the Shakespeare festival are a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes by bike.
The suite is attached to my home, which is quiet and calm. I invite all who wish for a peaceful and relaxing get-away.
Pets are not allowed and no illegal activity will be tolerated.
Breakfast is not included.
Staying with Lisa is always something we look forward to. The space, location and neighborhood could not be better when working/visiting in Ashland and Medford.
The place was just as described. The bed was very comfortable and there was coffee and tea to enjoy in the mornings. My favorite part was the surrounding farmland and mountain scenery. A beautiful spot that I'd definitely stay at again and recommend to others. Lisa was out of town as it was Christmas, and the woman who was checking it with us was really nice and helpful.
We loved staying at Lisa's beautiful home. The room is attached to the house, but completely private and the location is just perfect- you feel like you are in the countryside but you really are just minutes away from downtown Ashland. It's clean, quiet (Thanks! I haven't slept that deep in a while) and well build- we were always warm and comfy. Lisa was a great host- always available when we needed assistance, but giving us plenty of space to have a quiet retreat and wonderful vacation in Ashland. Thanks for everything! Uschi & Doug
We return to Lisa's space in Ashland whenever we're in town on business and the rooms are available. The accommodations are as described and better. The setting (mix of suburban homes, pastures and open fields surrounded by a college town) is delightful.
My friends had a lovely time in Ashland! Lisa has set up an inviting, well appointed "apartment" in her home. We had everything we needed, including coffee, tea, and plenty of blankets and towels. The house is located near town in a pastoral setting with lots of cute animal neighbors.
Lisa always makes us feel welcome. The rooms are as described (well-appointed, immaculate, comfortable) and communication (ETA and ETD) is easy and reliable. We look forward to staying with Lisa again soon.
Lisa was wonderful at accommodating me on a last-minute trip to Ashland. The room is nice and big, very comfortable bed! and very nice bathroom. Had total privacy.
I've been to Ashland many times and this was a work trip, so I enjoyed being in a rural setting - yet SUPER close to SOU and town.
Travel is a big part of my life, and I'm excited to be able to offer a comfortable "home away from home" for fellow travelers. My most recent trip was to Bali where my family and I spent time taking in the beauty of the land and its people.
My home is a wonderful, peaceful Oasis where spiritual workshops, ceremonies and meditation are welcomed. I practice the Hakomi Method and offer Life Coaching as well as a number of healing modalities.
I love to dance, walk on the many trails here in Ashland, create community and laugh!
