The Space

Lovely apartment/suite in a secluded and very quiet neighborhood. This get-away includes a living space with queen bed, kitchenette and private bathroom with large tub/shower. A separate bedroom with double bed that's connected to the suite is available for an additional $15/night. .

The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and tea/coffee making supplies. Plates, silverware, glasses, mugs and wine glasses are provided.

The suite is part of a private home and has a separate entrance with a patio and outside seating. The property is surrounded by privacy with many mature trees and open spaces with a real country feel.

While the location feels like country living, this suite is right in the south end of town near SOU and the bike path with shopping, groceries, restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Downtown and the Shakespeare festival are a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes by bike.

  • It was in a beautiful setting and exactly as described. Although there were only two of us it's perfect for a family of four or two couples. All of the facilities were great and Lisa was very gracious. Just a short drive to downtown where we never had a hard time finding parking.

  • Lisa was helpful and accommodating from the first contact. The space was clean, comfortable and exactly as I expected, except the view and the bathtub were better than I expected! Her house is in a lovely spot and very close to downtown Ashland. We had a private entrance and could come and go without ever interacting with Lisa and her family, but she made herself available if we wanted some local knowledge. I would definitely stay with Lisa again!

  • Lisa is a gracious host. Welcoming, warm and helpful.
The place is very well maintained and pleasant to be with.
We enjoyed the nights, as well as the afternoons rests between the plays.
The neighborhood is lovely. Although very close to the main road and hardly 10 minutes from the center of the town, it feels like country and is very quiet.

  • Lisa was a gracious and welcoming host. Our accommodations were charming, clean, comfortable and quiet. There was plenty of room for the four of us and we appreciated the thoughtful touches - coffee/tea, fridge, iron, info on the Shakespeare Festival, etc. The locale on the outskirts of town was relaxing and beautiful. We would happily stay there again!

  • My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Lisa's immensely. The accommodations were perfect, the beds were so comfy, and the surrounding fields and views restful and beautiful.
Lisa was helpful and flexible and kept in close communication despite our hectic schedule! Thank you Lisa.

  • Lisa was friendly and informative. The room was pretty much as described. I didn't realize it was located in the basement level of a split level house, making the backyard (and the nearby chickens) eye level. It also meant the room was cool without air conditioning. I had a comfortable stay, and although family noise occasionally found its way below, it was not particularly a nuisance. I recommend it.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's. Lisa was helpful when and very welcoming. We were also delighted with the location, close to all the action but in a quiet & rural setting.

Travel is a big part of my life, and I'm excited to be able to offer a comfortable "home away from home" for fellow travelers. My most recent trip was to Bali where my family and I spent time taking in the beauty of the land and its people. My home is a wonderful, peaceful Oasis where spiritual workshops, ceremonies and meditation are welcomed. I practice the Hakomi Method and offer Life Coaching as well as a number of healing modalities. I love to dance, walk on the many trails here in Ashland, create community and laugh!
