A small, well-connected, super quiet apartment to come back to after a day of exploring the city.

The space
A mini apartment fully equipped: bright, silent, well connected.

Berlin mon amour... is a mini apartment (28 sqm), with kitchen and private bathroom. It is on the second floor of a 'gartenhaus' in a quiet street in Mitte-Wedding, a three minute walk from Leopoldplatz. It has an independent access, next to our door. A large window overlooks an interior garden, very peaceful and quiet, day and night.
The large room can accommodate two people in a double bed, and two others on a wide sofa bed. The wooden floor is really comfortable. The mini kitchen is well equipped with crockery and utensils, electric cooker and fridge. Basics to cook are provided: oil, salt, sugar, spices...A table allows you to have a work space (internet connection) or a relaxing break (there is always what it is needed to prepare tea). The bathroom has a window and a large bath. The room is bright and silent, well heated in winter, cool in summer.

Towels, sheets and hairdryer are provided.

Please note that check in is only possible until 9 p.m. If you have different needs please contact me first and let's see if it is possible. If your plane lands after 8 p.m. tell me right away.

Please fill out your profile before making a request, introduce yourself by saying where you are from, what you do, say something about yourself. The social aspect of Airbnb is what differentiates it from going to a hotel and remaining anonymous.

Children until 3 years free, a baby bed is available.

Guest access
The entrance corridor is common to our flat and to the mini apartment; otherwise it is well separated. The garden can be enjoined: it is closed, provides a sandy children playground, and allows parking for bikes.

Other things to note
- If you need to check in later then h22 please write me before booking!
- Please remember that tourists staying overnight in Berlin are subject to paying an accommodation tax, the so-called City Tax. This has to be applied on the final amount paid and we cannot include in the flat price. The City Tax amounts to five percent of the room rate. The accommodation providers have to transfer the tax and are authorized to claim the amount of money from their guests in turn. Business travellers are exempt from the City Tax and do not have to pay.
- If you book for two people we prepare the double bed; if you need two separate bed please let me know it in advance.

Neighborhood highlights

Mitte-Wedding is one of Berlin's most multicultural districts. It's changing really fast: It's attracting more students, young artists, and designers, couples with kids. Its streets create cultural spaces, nice cafes and restaurants, design workshops and shops. The neighborhood has a lively art scene that finds its center in the Silent Green Kulturquartier, Savvy Contemporary court. There are two large parks (Schillerpark, Rehberge), a lake (Plotzensee), swimming pool. In a few minutes from here there is a children's farm and many great playgrounds for children and adventure playgrounds for teenagers.

Services: Three minutes from the house is Müllerstraße, a business street where there are many supermarkets, shops, pharmacies. Close to the house is one of the most beautiful Turkish markets in Berlin: mountains of fruit and colorful vegetables mix the colors of customers and the voices of the vendors. The Leopoldplatz hosts a farmer's market twice a week: organic vegetables, fruit, meat and bread, and a fun fish smokehouse. There is a flea market on Saturdays, and there are many secondhand shops around. There is a wide range of food options nearby.
