I stayed with Rosalind for two nights. I came in late on Friday night, my flight having been delayed twice, and didn't arrive at her house until almost midnight. She was very responsive and made extra effort to make sure that the method of access to the house was clear in spite of the late arrival. There is ample, easily-accessed off-street parking. I arrived to a lovely, personalized welcome sign on my bedroom door, and an extremely spacious room with a private bathroom. The bed was an oasis: soft but firm, four fluffy pillows, and soft blankets. When I woke up in the morning, I was greeted by chilled water bottles and a piece of fruit. The whole family is warm and friendly, available for what we I needed, but ready to give me whatever space I required as well. Honestly, I wish I could have spent more time there, but I was called away for family obligations for the duration of the trip. Rosalind is a kind and generous person; she clearly makes every effort to make her Airbnb space warm and welcoming. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to meet her and her family, and I encourage others to stay here.

Response from Rosalind:
My sentiments mirror hers - I could have spent so much more time with her. She is most the most gracious, kind, and wonderful a guest as any host could wish for!

Rosalind's place was a great stay for our family. It is probably the only handicap accessible airbnb place in Northeast Ohio, which makes it unique. We walked with the baby and dog in the morning, before we checked-out, to Shaker Square, a suggestion of hers. Rosalind and her son were warm and friendly, making sure we had plenty of water, air-condition, and offered pancakes in the morning. Rosalind has a glowing spirit that is great to be around, especially during our long road trip.

She was very good about getting back to us on emails and providing information on how to get into the house and where the room was. We didn't know where the towels were but eventually found them. There was bottled water in the room. She was kind of brought up a tray with coffee in the morning. Parking was difficult. We did have some issues with the cleanliness of the room & condition of the house. For us the bed wasn't comfortable – a box spring and mattress on the floor. I tried sweeping and dusting a bit. It was good that they were environmentally conscious with waste. If someone needed a room because they had a disability, it was unique in that it had an elevator & wooden slats on either side of the toilet.

Thank you for your input, Judith. We are definitely a work in progress. And I am glad you could grace our home with your presence.

Rosalind was very courteous and thoughtful as a host. She made sure that my girlfriend and I had all that we needed for a restful stay. While the location is necessarily centrally located for folks hoping to explore the city, the room is very spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the value for the price is fantastic.

She was a very great, kind, and generous host, her sons too. She even let us drink some tea with her! Other than that, the room was not so great, even tho it was spacious, it wasn't that clean. The bathroom was clean tho, and very spacious. But we had issues with bugs, and there were some ants on the bed and big bugs running around on the floor and walking on the Windows. Some mosquitos were sleeping in the lamp too! And the bed sheets weren't that clean, didn't smell good either. 10/10 for a very generous host. 3/10 for the cleanness. Bugs everywhere, couldn't sleep the second night!

Response from Rosalind:
All my guests are guaranteed freshly laundered linens and towels, a thoroughly scrubbed toilet, sink, tub, light switches, door handles. All surfaces in the room are wiped down. All floors are mopped by hand on my hands and knees. There may be a lapse of time between guests when dust from the dry air this summer gathers. We do use perfume-free cleaning agents and soaps, since some of our guests may be allergic. And our house is a well-lived in house full of activity that in itself causes a whimsical sense of chaos! We are still a work in progress, and can learn, but learn best when our guests find something that doesn't suit them, and lets us know right away.
