Designer's own flat with great interior, renovated in 2014, in what many say is the perfect location in the Old Town, but by Kazimierz. Great Wawel views, WIFI, cosy all year round, sleeping 4. Genuine character and quality unlike so many in KRK
Note - do enquire about availability first, rather than 'Instant Book' - as sometimes I can do a small discount depending on availability and length of stay. :) - my availability charts are updated every 48 hours.
This is a whole apartment sleeping 4, with wifi, by the Wawel castle in the Old Town.
I've seen many of the apartments in Krakow, and this is one of the best, in the best location with easy walking access to the main square and Kazimierz ('Jewish Quarter') where most of the good bars and restaurants are.
What's included? Basically just bring yourselves, and food and drink. The bed/s are made (according to number staying) with 100% cotton linen, towels & teatowels provided, fresh dishcloth every time (and washing up liquid, and liquid soap, and first few toilet rolls). No extra charges after arrival, utilities are included. The kitchen is well equipped. All you need is to relax, open the balconette doors with your drink of choice, and admire your amazing view over the rooftops!
Lie in bed and watch the sun rise over the Wawel castle at my newly-restored apartment in Kraków Old Town. When you stay in Kraków you want to be in the Old Town, near to Kazimierz (the bohemian Jewish quarter where all the best bars and restaurants are), and within a short walk of the Rynek (main market square) and the Royal Wawel castle complex. This stylish apartment provides the perfect central location where all the sights are easily walkable, and you won't even need to use the (excellent, and cheap) public transport.
After viewing nearly 60 different flats I bought this one for myself as it had the best views I'd seen in any Kraków flat, and despite being very central was extremely peaceful. Friends who visit when I'm here always comment how tranquil the location is, as they're surprised with it being so central. You can sleep at night with the French doors open to the view and you'll hear no traffic noise....though you will hear the trumpeteer at the Mariacki church on the main square every hour.
I've completely renovated the flat in a 1950s style with original and reproduction furnishings, design and papers. A new oak parquet has been laid throughout, there is gas central heating, free WIFI, a new kitchen and bathroom. Mattress is the top of the range as I know how important it is to get a good night's sleep.
Lounge with French doors/ 'Juliette' balcony to Old Town view. Traditional stove. New quality double sofabed.
Bedroom with French doors/ 'Juliette' balcony to Wawel view
Outside - communal garden, on-street parking (metered on weekdays). If you look to the right you can see the tower of the Mariacki church on the main square. New kingsize bed with great quality mattress and 100% cotton bedlinen
Kitchen - newly built with double sink, fridge (small freezer compartment), oven, induction hob, kettle, toaster
Shower-room - good shower, toilet
On-street parking (metered on weekdays, a c12 minute walk to area with free on-street parking)
Wawel castle - 4 minute walk
Kazimierz (Jewish quarter where best restaurants and bars are - 4 minute walk
Rynek (Main Square) - 8 minute walk
Tram/ bus stop (Gertrudy/Starowislna) - 3 minute walk
Note the apartment is on the 4th floor accessed by stairs, not lift.
What makes this apartment unique is that it has great views, the perfect location mid Old Town/ Kazimierz and it was renovated as a private residence - good quality - not as tourist let.

Interaction with Guests
Very little, though if you like I can often meet for a coffee. Keys collected from a keysafe (code when you pay) so late arrival is OK. Local housekeeper and property manager.
I lived in this apartment and I chose it for being on the best street for me - very very quiet but Old Town location but also on the edge nearest to Kazimierz (so near the best bars and food).
There are many bus stops and tram stops near but frankly you are SO central here that you can walk everywhere you might want in just a few minutes.
Other Things to Note
Fourth floor -no lift.
No smoking allowed inside (or on balcony as balcony is flush) thanks. There is a communal garden if you are a smoker.
Departure by 10am on day of departure, thanks.
Arrivals from 4pm unless otherwise arranged. We can often be more flexible depending on other bookings/ arrivals.
If you bring a pet please do not allow them on the bed or the furniture - thanks for being a responsible pet owner.
It was a nice house in a perfect location，near the old town. The room is tidy and warm.Greg is very kind and help me a lot！
The apartment is even cooler in real life! Great location close to all. Didn't get a chance to meet Greg but his correspondence was polite, informative, and prompt. Highly recommend!
Greg's house was indeed beautiful, wonderfully decorated, and in a very comfortable position. Short walk from city centre, Krakow castle, jewish quarter, supermarket. Very quiet, wonderful view from the window!
Great flat in a central location. Greg responded quickly to all queries promptly. Very glad I stayed here. Many thanks!
Fantastic flat in a great (email hidden) between jewish quarter where the cool bars and restaurants are and the main square.
Really nicely renovated and comfortable.
Great views also!
Krakow is awesome, especially in Autumn. We spent 4 days in October, attending performances and checking out various shows at Unsound festival. This was my third time visiting Krakow, and I will be back.
So, this apartment was perfect. Very conveniently located, it is exceptionally clean, cosy, colourful and comfortable. And the decor is a sight to behold, spectacular in the lovely October light.
