The room is like a small studio apartment on its own.
Everything is very clean!
The room has a double bed, small desk, bookshelf, wardrobe with drawers and a lot of light.
Open the door and step out on the huge 100 sqm rooftop terrace.
The terrace is the most awesome place you can imagine, balcony furniture and BBQ set are ready and you have a great view over the roofs of Prague and, among them, the illuminated building of Muzeum as well as the TV tower on Žižkov hill, very spectacular at night.
Please don't smoke in the flat, only on the balconies whilst enjoying the view over Prague.
You get your own set of keys so that you can come and go as you like.

Interaction with Guests
Even though this listing is not a full apartment, it is still much more than just a room. If you like to have your own privacy but still prefer to meet locals for a nice chat and get some insider tips on visiting the city, this place is ideal for you.
We and our (website hidden) like to cook and share food and drinks with each other and are always happy to have the chance to get to know our guests a bit more during a dinner or some drinks spent together in our lovely kitchen.
In case we're booked or you want a whole apartment for yourself, check also https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/3142502 or https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/4080979 which are Paul's guest apartments.
The street is the representative main street of upper Holesovice (Prague district) with beautiful buildings and paintings on them.
Right around the place are plenty of pubs and coffee places of different coloeur.
A Potrefena Husa restaurant at the next corner offers e.g. high quality Czech cuisine, the "Houbaře" next door offers Czech standard cuisine and according to Tripadvisor the best Pilsner in town, there are at least 2 vegetarian restaurants within 3min walking. A stylish cafe right in the house offers breakfast, cocktails and of course very good coffee. Check my AirBnB guidebook for more recommendations.
My flat mates are very hospitable and we speak Czech, Slovakian, English, German, Hungarian and Spanish. We are hosting friends very often and know to give you the right hints where to start off with your discovery of the city - should you be interested in general sightseeing or more specific subjects such as architecture and arts, opera, history, alternative scenes, or nature.
Excellent public transport connection
Within 2min walk you will be at the 24/7 public transport hub Strossmayerovo namesti as well as 5min at Vltavska metro station.
* 2 stops / 3 min to the main train station
* 1 stop / 2min to international bus station Florenc
* 1-2 stops/3min to Republic square
* 3 stops / 5min to "Muzeum"
Shopping in the area:
- 90m from the flat is a small Vietnamese supermarket, butcher and bakery next to it
- 100m from Strossmayerovo namesti is an organic food shop
- 5min walking brings you to a regular Albert supermarket that opens 9am to 10pm 7 days a week.
Absolutely no smoking inside, you can smoke on the balconies.
Respect rest/silent times between 10pm and 6am Sun-Thur, 1am to 8am Fri-Sat (silent times means you can of course come and go and even have diner in the kitchen, just no party and no tumble dryer in that times)
Please lock the entrance door to the flat when you are out - it is too easy to break in if it is unlocked. (fire exit is to the balcony in any case hence no danger here)
Arrival is in the afternoon from 3 pm, departure until noon 12 pm. Please ask if you want to arrive/depart at different times - I am not strict but it may need planning. In case you arrive after 9 pm to the airport I expect you to take a taxi to make it more dependable.
I couldn't be more pleased with the chance to stay with Zsofi. She and her boyfriend Paul, as well as their roommate Martin were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and informed on all things Prague and Czech! The room is perfect, offering privacy and convenience, too! Just a short tram ride from the train station and every appealing attraction over the river, the accommodations are ideal for getting more from one's visit to Prague - including a bright, clean, welcoming flat in a real neighborhood.
Very enjoyable time at Zsofis apartment in Prague. Unfortunately we did not get to meet her, but her boyfriend Paul was very helpful. Great recommendations for places to see and where to eat, which was illustrated on a map for us to keep. The room was large, clean and tidy, with our own bathroom. The chocolates, water and wine were a nice touch. Within walking range to most places.
We arrived at 7am, and were easily accommodated, leaving our bags and showering before the room was ready.
Would gladly recommend this apartment
Thanks to Zsofi and Paul to welcome us in Prague. The place is really nice and close to city center. Everything is walking distance to the penthouse. We had everything we need and all the recommendations is worth to visit. I highly recommend them and definitely will come back if I ever come to prague again.
Our trip to Prague was really awesome. One of the points was this flat we were livng in. You have a nice view from the terrace, the badrooms and kitchen are very nice and clean and the owners welcome you to the town show you the appartment and take time to introduce you to the places in town and help you with cheap parking possiblities. So for a short trip i can recommend this appartment and would take it again anytime, since the price is really good for the comfort you get.
Thank you, Thomas
Zsofi welcomed us with beer and a lot of helpful tricks. Our room was very nice, but we mostly enjoyed the view from the terrace.
Prague is great, thanks for making our visit even more lovely, showing us also the "not so touristy" part of Prague.

About the Host, Zsofi
You can find me on AirBnB because I love being surrounded by my friends and over the years providing excellent service and hospitality has become my hobby. After having hosted lots of friends and couchsurfers, my boyfriend Paul and I started renting out our own room while we were away on business trips and holidays. Based on the positive feedback and reviews of our first AirBnB guests, we have been gradually improving our offer since 2011. Nowadays we have a guestroom in our flatshare that we rent out regularly, as well as a couple of entire apartments in the very centre of Prague run by Paul. (You can find all of our listings in my wishlist below.)
Hosting is a hobby for me but I take it very seriously. My goal is to provide much more than accommodation to my guests, as I know from my own travelling experiences how great a difference it means to have personal contact with your host. Our reviews tell a good story of how we succeed. :)
These are things you'll always get with me:
* easy arrival with very well done instructions
* super clean apartments
* new furniture and proper bedding to enjoy your holidays
* a direct contact for me and help any time you need it
My philosophy is to only do things that I enjoy doing, so that I can devote more time and energy to what is really important to me.
In my professional life I work in the non-profit sector as a project coordinator of an international foundation. I am interested in education, human rights activism, arts, languages, and people in general.
