  • Fantastic apartment 2 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, and a short walk from all the main attractions. Beautifully decorated, useful appliances and reasonably priced! We even got complementary shower and bath products and also a bottle of wine! 100% would recommend and visit again!

    Thank you so much Michael! Welcome back anytime.

  • We loved staying in this quiet, luxury oasis right in the heart of Rome. It was very comfortable and Stefano was very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends!

  • Pro :
    Nice location

    Cons :
    * VERY noisy (on via della Vite there are very thin window panes + ambiant noise => we could hardly sleep :-/  For the sleeping room on the rear, noise of a climatizer...
    * beds are average
    * living room is dark
    * bathrooms and showers = no space to put things Shower knob cannot be hanged
    * no practical solution is proposed to keep the luggages after 11am on the last day (if there are new guests to come) except leaving them at the agency office (1,5km east, north of Termini)
    * impersonal welcome
    * managed by an agency, not a private owner

    Conclusion :
    a flat only set up to be rented (seems nobody actually lives here besides travelers). I don't recommend unless the owner do the following :
    1. Put double window panes on via della Vite and in the rear sleeping room
    2. change the beds
    3. Add some practical confort in the bathrooms

    Response from Stefano:

    Being in central Rome and on a pedestrian street this apartment is not particularly noisy for people accustomed to live in big cities. Of course if you live in the countryside and pretend that big cities are quiet like your house in the countryside you might be wrong. I just think that Olivier needs to travel a bit more in order fine tune his expectations.
    Finally what's wrong if the flat is on the rental market? Again Olivier: I can understand that for you your home is the center of the world, but please don't take it as the benchmark for the few things you've see in your life.

  • This was a wonderful starting point in Rome for us. The location was great; you can't go wrong being centrally located in Trastevere. The place was quiet and clean, and the agency that does the rentals were responsive once we arrived in Rome. I would recommend to anyone.

    Hello Justin, thank you for your feedback. Stefano

  • Just a quick review!

    The Good
    The location couldn't be better. It's literally a block away from everything.
    The experience of living in a downtown Rome apt was also interesting.
    The place was clean and in good condition.
    It's much bigger than it looks.

    The Bad
    First, I was supposed to meet Stefano at 12pm but the guy that gave me the keys didn't show up until 1230sh. In the meantime some guy made me climb stairs up and down looking for the apt.
    Second, the check in time is 12pm but the apt wasn't ready until 1:13pm. The place wasn't really well cleaned when I finally checked in at 1pm. There was plenty of dust under the beds and on the floor.
    Third, there were no hand towels and only minimum toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. I could have called Stefano or someone but it is the responsibility of the manager to ensure that everything is great on day 1... something that didn't happen.
    Fourth, internet is spotty and you can't get signal on the right wing of the apt.

    Lost in Translation
    The full bathroom is really small so you'll have problems taking a shower (I'm not overweight). However, in Europe a lot of good hotels have these small showers so I can't blame Stefano or anyone for that.

    My Opinion
    I think the location is great and if I had children and elderly family members/friends, I would probably go back because of the location and convenience of having a kitchen, etc. In my case, I stayed at this place because I thought the quality of the beds and property was going to be better than a hotel but that was not the case. Due to the rate I was charged for this property, I think I would have preferred stayed at a hotel where everything is taken care of.

    Response from Stefano:

    It makes no sense to compare a vacation rental with a generic hotel. It's two different experiences and Alvaro's comment just shows that he is not aware of the difference. Concerning hotel service, well Alvaro has not traveled so much as hotel service can vary so much. For example, concerning Internet I've been in 5 stars hotels with Internet charged at an outrageous rate and not working smoothly and, in some cases, not working at all. Maybe, when Alvaro will be an experienced travel - might be possible - he will better understand that this kind of comment ain't helpful for anyone in this community.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay: the location is perfect - all the major sights are in walking distance. The apartment looks exactly as it is in the pictures, very modern, neat and stylish. Thanks for the hospitality, we would love to stay here another time.

    Spasibo Natalia!

  • The apartment is wonderful! When we first arrived we were impressed to see that it is actually nicer than the pictures suggest. High ceilings, dramatic lighting, and very spacious. Excellent closet space, large bedrooms, not just a washing machine, but a laundry room. The apartment was also incredibly clean, which really impressed us. The location is the best in Rome. Minutes walk away from major tourist attractions, in an elegant building, on a very charming side street. The water pressure in the showers was good, plenty of hot water, the apartment was warm and cozy. Angelo met us upon our arrival. We asked for a second set of keys, and he brought us a set within minutes. He answered any questions, and gave us maps of the area.
    It is not stocked with personal soaps and such, but I didn't expect that. If you walk out the door and make three rights, there is a small market (two minutes away) with everything that we needed. Delicious Bakery and Meat, Cheese and Wine store, also to the right, and a pizzeria across the street. One night we had a little cocktail party for ourselves around the kitchen island stocked with delicasies from those places before we went out to dinner.
    All in all, a fantastic deal for a great stay in Rome.

    Hello Irit, thank you so much for your feedback. Welcome back any time!

  • Lovely, spacious, modern, and very clean apartment that is just like the pictures on the website; one level up from the street with a small lift. Can sleep 6 (3 couples) if one couple sleeps on the pull out sofa in the living/dining area. It is excellently located, an easy 10 minute walk to the Termini, 15 minutes to the Colosseum, Conad supermarket around the corner, restaurants, bakeries, gelaterias, and TIM and Vodafone up the block, not to mention S. Maria Maggiore three blocks away. The balcony looks out on interior courtyards, gardens, and wisteria blooming. Plenty of heat and hot water. Two full bathrooms, one with a tub, which was a giant plus after running the Maratona di Roma! There is also a washing machine (no dryer). The kitchen is modern and functional. We cooked several meals here. Good frig and freezer, no dishwasher. The entire apartment has double-paned windows which keeps things quiet. Both bedrooms, however, face the street. If you are not accustomed to city living you might want to use earplugs. The neighbors are quiet. It is not a place for loud parties. Our host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We highly endorse this apartment and would absolutely return.
