My husband and I stayed at Paul and Carmen's place for a night before our 4 day kayak trip with North Island Kayak. We didn't have any trouble finding their place thro' (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps. Carmen was very communicative and gave useful tips even prior to our arrival. The place was clean, exactly as shown in pictures. We had booked one room and it was perfect for two people. The shared kitchen, dining and living area was huge. WiFi was good. Kitchen had good choice of teas and Keurig coffee. The bed was comfortable. Paul and Carmen were always available and kept checking if we needed anything. The next morning, since we had to be at Telegraph Cove at 8:30am, they had the breakfast ready for us by 7. The breakfast was simple and good - fresh fruits, homemade granola, yoghurt, juice, pastry, coffee and tea. We had a wonderful conversation during breakfast and Paul and Carmen were enthusiastic to share their experiences and knowledge about the area. I highly recommend their place and if I'm back in the area I'll gladly stay there again.

This b&b is my best experience I have ever had through Airbnb. The house and room is very nice and the hot tab amazing. But the best of all were our host. I had never such a personal welcoming host, who felt like friends in the end. In the beginning we just booked one night. 2 hours after our arrival we booked a second night, which shows the best, that we really liked it.

We had a great time staying with Paul and Carmen. The house was very clean, and the breakfasts were delicious! Paul and Carmen were very kind, helpful, and enjoyable to chat with. The bed was comfy and the property was beautiful. It was easy diving access to Telegraph Cove and the town centre of Port McNiell. We did the whale watching tour in Port McNeill with Mckay's and it was awesome! Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Carmen and Paul are exceptional Airbnb hosts. They are extremely warm and welcoming and their forest nestled home was very comfortable and lovely. The outdoor hot tub and shower were a little piece of heaven. A true Airbnb experience with the knowledge and friendliness of locals. For us, it was the perfect place before and after our amazing kayak trip. We highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend Carmens B&B. Beautiful home, relaxing hot tub and got to have some fresh caught salmon! Which was very good.

Carmen User ProfileCarmen is a superhost.

We love building relationships. Whether we have known you as a fellow life trekker for ages or you have stayed with us for only one or two nights, the next time we get together, its like it was only yesterday and the fun begins again.

We like a morning coffee relaxing in the hot tub planning our day. I like mowing the grass for the multitude of spring and summer robins that seem to have an endless supply of food for their young ones.

A good Dungeness crab feed or a fresh salmon steak broiled to perfection is a common summer extravagance. But, it is no fun by ourselves. Guests make our day.

Visit us and our place is yours to find one of many quiet spots to hang out on your own or if you like, come and visit with us. We live downstairs, you live upstairs with privacy. We understand a world traveler's life can be busy.

For us, life is about relationships. Come, stay with us and be special.
