Nestled on an old country road just off of rural route 17 in the heart of the Green Mountains, this spacious private suite awaits your arrival. The catherdral ceiling room is detached from the main home above the garage. You have your own private entrance. The room features a sitting area overlooking the Green Mountains of Vermont. and is furnished with a sofa and reading chair,a comfortable king bed with beautiful linens ,and a private bath with a large walk in shower. There is a CD player and a DVD player. A coffee maker and a tea kettle are available so you can prepare your favorite morning beverage in the privacy of your own room and enjoy the view. There are ceiling fans and AC for your comfort. Our home is located on 17 beautiful mostly open meadow acres which overlook the Green Mountain National Forest. We also maintain perennial gardens and some old apple trees on the land . Just 10 min down a scenic mountain road along Baldwin Creek sits our little town of Bristol. A great place to start out at is THE BRISTOL BAKERY a local coffee breakfast cafe! Or visit the beautiful college town of Middlebury on Otter Creek, 25 min. away !, Burlington is just 45min. north ,and is located on the shores of Lake Champlain and has a bustling downtown area. The Sugarbush Valley is 20 min. over the mountain and it is a beautiful scenic drive, which crosses over the Appalachian trail. The valley is quiet ,quaint and artsy and hosts the little village of Warren Vt. The things to do are endless ,hiking, biking, walking on our country roads, swimming , fishing cheese tasting, wine tasting , museums and country farmers markets ,and local country stores !! .
Or, just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the view from where you are !!
We are frequently visited by deer, bear and moose, hawks and many mountain songbirds. We are always in awe of beautiful sunrises and awesome sunsets ,and rainbows too!
