In the beautiful Uplands area of Mt. Shasta, Sacred Dreamlodge Retreat is located on the southern foot of the mountain. It is nestled in wooded seclusion underneath a cool canopy of lush oak and cedar trees with a breathtaking view of the mountain.
Sacred Dreamlodge Retreat is a big beautiful ranch home located on 4 peaceful acres of wild old growth land situated just a couple of minutes from town.
You will enjoy staying in one of 4 well-appointed and cozy retreat rooms. 1) A large private master bedroom with a memory foam queen bed, full private bath with a large cast iron soaking tub. 2.) Bedroom with a memory foam queen bed, private deck, and shared full bath. 3.) Bunk room with full/twin beds, large closet and shared bath. 4.) Studio with private entrance, disabled access, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and private bath. Guests have been known to stretch out on the Adirondack chairs, or do yoga on the deck looking out to the mountain.
Morning walks (1.3 miles) to Seven Suns Coffee shop are a nice way to begin the day. There are many nice views of the mountain from the house, especially the living room, and expansive back yard deck. Views from all other windows are of the many cedar, oak and manzanita trees that cover the property.
We are told by our neighbors that Dreamlodge stands on property once owned by G.W. Ballard, which was purchased along with many lots in the area for the purity, high vibration, and violet ray which emanated from the mountain through this area. You can feel something very different and special about this area and home.
Guest who rent studio have access to all outside and deck area only. Feel free to lounge on the deck, read a book from our small collection, or take a nap under the oak trees. Art supplies can borrowed from our collection for guests to create. Certain rules apply to guest who rent rooms in the main house.

We love that our neighborhood is one of the most highly desired places to live in the town of Mt. Shasta. Super friendly and quiet, it is a great place for walks in the morning. Whether one wants an easy stroll, moderate walk, or more strenuous work out, the terrain is great! Privacy is one of the cornerstones of the Uplands, with all properties bordered by three or more acres of lush oaks, manzanita, and cedars.
1.3 mile walk to (website hidden). Shasta Blvd to downtown. One can easily walk, bike, or take a car. We have parking on the premises.

My daughter and I had a most wonderful retreat...Our studio was exactly what we hoped for and more...Eric was a most gracious host. The land and surroundings felt sacred and private....We will definitely be back. Thank you Eric and Ericka for sharing this beautiful place with us....
The Dreamlodge was great! My room had a great view of the mountain, it was close to everything and Eric was an outstanding host.
From the moment we stepped into Dreamlodge we felt at home. This was not only due to the lovely decor and wonderful views, but because Eric our host made sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions about Mount Shasta and the local environment. In particualr, we enjoyed cooking some lovely meals in the large kitchen and sitting on the decking looking up at the snow capped mountain. A highlight was feeding the deer straight from the balcony. Anytime we come back to Mt Shasta we will stay there again. We wish Eric and his family every success with their future retreats which sound as if they will be fantastic.
We had such a magical stay at Eric and Erica's! As Erica was away, Eric was hosting on his own and made us feel very welcomed even before we arrived. We even were welcome to bring our Astrologer to the property for a reading, with Eric making us feel totally at home. We stayed in the main house... Everything was amazing quality, such as the bed and bed linen (best sleep ever!) and perfectly clean... But very homely and nothing stark. Eric and Erica offer a very peaceful home and with their Native American background Eric was able to share some wonderful stories about the mountain and their heritage. We would stay there again anytime and wish them every blessing!!
Dreamlodge Retreat is in a perfect location just outside of downtown Mount Shasta. The home is nestled in the trees with a beautiful view of the summit of Mount Shasta. Eric greeted me upon arrival and made sure all of my needs were met. Eric was a gracious host sharing great conversation about the area. I loved, at night, being able to look out the large bedroom window up to Mount Shasta. Thank you Eric and your family for providing this wonderful space.
Eric is a great host and made me feel at home. He helped me plan the day and we had a great conversation about Shasta. Great host and I would definitely recommend them.
Eric is a wonderful host and made me feel most welcome in their lovely home. My room was spacious and comfortable and adjoined a large kitchen, so I was able to make breakfast each morning before I left for a conference. The home sits back in the woods on acreage with a great view
of Mt. Shasta and the stars at night. I enjoyed visiting with my host and
exchanging view of current events. Highly recommend this "Dream Lodge".
