Apartment was located perfectly on a mostly residential street, but in very close proximity to the underground train and walking distance to many cafés and shops.
Apartment itself is nice, not overly homey feeling, but charming nonetheless. Wifi connection is pretty bleak, so if that's important to you-maybe this is not the place for you. A light breakfast was delivered every morning, which also allows you to keep in contact daily if you do have any concerns.
Location was perfect. Four people can fit comfortably. If you are two couples, privacy can be issue. Internet works in the kitchen only.
Great location, close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum as well as Piazza Venezia. Also close to Termini station (10-15min walk), and there's a metro stop about 1min away. Very nice kitchen and good bathroom (a bit small but that's pretty standard for Europe). We really liked getting the free breakfast every morning! It was basic but nice to wake up to coffee and pastries. The king bed in the main room is very comfortable as is the bed in the small bedroom. The fourth bed was basically a roll-away cot, which wasn't too bad, but based on the pictures, we'd expected to be able to use a bigger bed in the loft. This sleeping situation was fine for a group of twenty-somethings, but may not be quite so comfortable for older persons.
Our main complaint was that the wifi didn't work during our whole stay. We were told that they'd been having trouble with it but were unable to get it fixed due to the Christmas holiday. I understand that it's difficult to get these kinds of problems resolved around the holidays, especially in Europe, but we were disappointed that it still wasn't working when we left 3 days after Christmas. However, Shah was quick to respond to my emails about the situation, and we were able to connect to the wifi in the adjoining building when we stood in the hallway, so it could have been worse.
Other than the wifi, there were no major problems with the place. It is a good price for the size and location and worked out pretty well for us! Also, thanks to Shah and his caretaker, Dipu, for doing their best to communicate with us in English, since we don't speak any Italian.
Location of the apartment was perfect, it was 5 min walking distance to the colosseum. We just had a little problem with the internet connection but then it has been solved.
If you want to live in Rome like a local people I totally recommend to rent this house.
You will not regret.
