We had a great time (granny, mum and son) staying in Joanna's mill apartment. it had everything we needed and was a cosy retreat after the blustery days out (february visit). Joanna was VERY helpful and made the whole process easy for newbie airbnbers. Loved the little jug of welcome milk and the flowers in the rooms. Ideal location for Eden visits and more exploring we hope, next time we visit!
Lovely little cottage in a great location to explore Cornwall. It was perfect for our family of 3 and had everything we needed.
Had a wonderful time at Joanne's Mill House. There was everything there that we could have wished for. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment cosy and warm. We received a courtesy visit from our hosts who were available if we needed them but otherwise were left to our own devises. Could not has wished for a better place and will certainly return should we find ourselves in Cornwall again.
Thank you Joanne.
Very Nice apartment!
We spent a lovely weekend there, it's close to the seaside and the Eden project, we'll furnished and comfy.
We had a great weekend at Joanna's place. We didn't actually see Joanna, but Chris welcomed us and pointed out good places to visit even tough it was pretty late. Definitely recommend Joanna as a host, as all the questions we had got a quick response and the place was all we hoped for. Thanks again :)
As an Air BnB virgin I can honestly say Joanna was a total star answering my questions promptly and helpfully which made all the difference to me in deciding where to stay - I wish others were as helpful.
The Apartment at the Mill is quaint, quiet and quirky and it was perfect for me - being woke up by the birds was just beautiful.
The bed was comfy and there was plenty of hot water, I was working very long hours so I didn't have time to cook or make use of the kitchen much but it seemed like there was everything you would need.
I think the photos are very accurate which helps you decide if this is the property for you. Its about 10mins by car to the Eden project and in a great spot to use as a base to sight see anywhere in Cornwall if you are driving.
Id recommend it for sure
We stayed for a long weekend with our 8 year old daughter and Labrador. We found the apartment easily with clear instructions from Joanna and it was a fabulous place to stay. The apartment was beautiful inside, very welcoming and cosy. There is access to wonderful paths leading to places such as the eden project and the grounds are great for exploring. We found everything we needed was provided and our daughter slept better than ever and wants to swap her bunk beds for the bed she stayed in! We had the best scrambled eggs for breakfast (freshly laid by Joanna & Chris's chickens). We had easy access to many wonderful beaches in the area and beyond too. We would not hesitate in returning or recommending it to friends and family as a place to stay.
Joana and her husband were very nice hosts. The mill is a very good base for making day trips in Cornwall. The apartment is well kept and suits a famliy with two youngsters very well (although there is no garden, but that has been made perfectly clear in the airbnb descrioption). There is a private parking space right next to the entrance door. (It sometimes can become a bit of an adventure driving out of it...) Overall highly recomendable.
The appartment was easy to find following the instructions of Joanna. The place was prepared well including towls. The location is well suited for trips to the south, west and north of Cornwall. It was very helpful that Joanna provids scale 1:25000 maps of Cornwall.
