Neighborhood highlights

Located in neighborhood/business district on the National Historic Landmark list. It is a very quiet town. Cars drive-by slowly in front of the house but traffic noise is not a problem.

The property is located adjacent to the historic Georgetown Hydroelectric Power Plant/Museum and transfer station that is now offline/closed 2022. You can see it from the windows on the east side of house. In the summer you can hear a slight hum from the power plant building when the water flow is higher. The station is powered by wind and water energy and does not cause any air or water pollution. The wires are on the smaller side with less EM exposure then high tension wires. It is owned and operated by Xcel and connected to the Cabin Creek Hydropower generator. The main house was a family residence and then rental in Georgetown for 100 years.

I love cozy unique spaces that invite one to relax and recover. I traveled quite a bit when I was younger and I'm grateful to all of those who took me in and gave me a cozy bed with comfy down duvets. My favorite buildings have always been barns, especially filled with horses bedded down in deep straw stalls. I value sharing and trusting others. I think we all pay too much for housing and rent. Lived in Colorado for over 35 years. I am a physical therapist, mother, and wife.
