Very light & warm apartment incl everything you need. The kitchen is the center of this cozy place, that we completely redesigned in fall 2012. We love the quiet area of Frederiksberg, that is just in between hip Vesterbro & Nørrebro.
Our nice apartment is on the top floor in a quiet street of Frederiksberg, close to Frederiksberg metro station, from where there is a direct connection to the airport. Frederiksberg is located in between the hippest neighbourhoods of Copenhagen - Vesterbro and Nørrebro. The neighbourhood itself is a bit more quiet, but still has a lot of nice cafés, Copenhagen's most beautiful park, and a lot of good restaurants.
Our apartment is spacious and cozy, with a nice big bathroom, an open kitchen and living room and a bedroom. And the best is our balcony, where it's sunny from 9 am untill the sun goes down. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, a quiet afternoon coffee, a glass of chilled white whine...
The sofa bed in the living room is suitable for two people, and the bedroom has a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a dish washer and everything else you need.
There is a nice green courtyard, which is accessible from the back stairs or through the house at the ground floor.
Please be aware that there is no elevator in the building, and we live on the 4th floor.
We did not know whether to tick the box Family/Kid Friendly - we do not have kids ourselves, but we wouldn't mind a family staying at our place. The courtyard is very good for kids, it has a small playground and is closed towards the surrounding streets.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment.
Interaction with Guests
We can give directions and recommendations upfront, but typically won´t be in town when our guests are here.
perfectly silent and safe street close to cafés and shops
conveniently accessible by metro and bus (and of course bike)
no parties, no loud noise after 8 o'clock
We had a lovely stay at laura and mikkels apartment. We especially enjoyed the beautiful kitchen and the balcony as well as the danish feel to the apartment. Even though they weren't in town, they made sure we were set up right for a great week in Copenhagen. All in all a great experience!
Laura and Mikkel are a fantastic hosts with a super apartment. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely stay again!
They picked us up at metro station and they showed us all the apartment. They also showed us on a map the bars, shops and more alternative areas of Copenhague.
The apartment is spacious and exceptionally well furnished and is ideal for a stay in Copenhagen. It is bright, silent and very clean.
Smart neighborhood of Frederiksberg - shops, bars/cafe within walking distance and only 4/5 minutes from the Frederiksberg metro station and the easy trip to and from the airport.
We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhague!
We had a wonderful time at Laura and Mikkel's apartment. They were extremely helpful in answering all our questions and giving us advice for whatever we needed. Picking up and handing over the key was very convenient. The design and furnishings of the apartment were beautiful and we felt immediately at home. And also important, the bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood was really nice and clean and the apartment was within easy walking distance of the Metro. They even were nice enough to let us use their bikes. I would recommend both Laura and Mikkel, as well as their apartment, to anyone! In short, we would love to return and they are wonderful hosts.
The apartment is cool, silent, with lot of light and danish charm! We really loved it and it made our holidays perfect. It's in a cool neighborhood, close to center and with a inner courtyard with playground for kids that our little daughter loved!
Mikkel and Laura gave us a fantastic 10 points guide of not-to-loose things of real Copenhagen that a typical tourist would surely miss. They are great hosts!
we are a couple in our late 20ies, early 30ies, like to travel and work as an architect and a jazz musician. When we are at home, we enjoy the evening sun on our balcony, listen to music and invite friends over for a glass of wine. When we are out travelling, we try to hit a good balance between nature and cities, but seem to always end up in cities anyways.
