Located a block from the lake, the custom cabin sleeps 9 and makes the perfect getaway for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, skiing and most of all, pure relaxation. The space
Our professional cleaning staff thoroughly clean and sanitize the cabin, following Airbnb's enhanced cleaning guidelines. With Lockbox entry, you will have contactless access to the cabin with no need to meet in person to exchange keys.

We're delighted to share our cozy cabin with fellow Airbnb-ers. Relax and soak in the beautiful details of the fine woodwork and furnishings. Choose from 3 decks to bask in the warm sun and take in the invigorating alpine air. Prepare sumptuous feasts with fully stocked kitchenware, gas stove with double oven and Weber gas grill. Let the wood burning stove warm you up while you apres-ski/hike/swim. Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, linens, pillows and towels await you after a day in the jewel of the Sierra. Neighborhood highlights

SpruceHaus is located in the quiet Serene Lakes locale. Stroll around the lake or ride your bike. You'll have easy access to hiking and biking trails as Royal Gorge Resort sits adjacent to the community. Nearby Truckee and Northstar Resort have mountain bike parks. You'll find top notch climbing off Donner Summit and numerous competitive outdoor events during the summer.

During the winter, you'll find world class skiing in North Lake Tahoe. If you want to visit America's only snowbound village, accessed by a Gondola, head to Sugar Bowl, where Old-World charm with a hint of European flair still exists.

If you want to ski steep lines and huck cliffs, check out Squaw Valley, only a 30 minute drive away. Squallywood and apres await! Alpine Meadows, with a locals' vibe and a more relaxed attitude, is just 10 minutes further. Northstar has a beautiful skating rink and numerous fire pits in the middle of their base resort and great tree skiing off the back side. For families with toddlers and young children, Soda Springs Resort is a smaller mountain and the perfect fit with beginner lessons and snow tubing.

During the summer, enjoy Serene Lakes' private sand beach, accessible to SpruceHaus guests. For a medium sized lake, locals go to Donner Lake just 10 minutes away. Kayaks and paddleboats are available to rent at the West End Beach.

Truckee is a 15 minute drive to restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. We'll provide a list of our favorite places that we've gathered over the years.

Lake Tahoe should not be missed; it's called Big Blue for a reason. Tahoe City is a good starting point to take in the astounding views. Drive north to Carnelian Bay and Incline Village or go south to quieter Sunnyside and Emerald Bay. Take time to walk or bike a portion of Lake Tahoe.

SpruceHaus is also the ideal lodging for Sugar Bowl weddings. Resort staff operate the chairlift for the lucky couple/guests to celebrate their big day with champagne toasts from the top of Mt. Disney. Enjoy majestic views of Castle Peak!
