The space
This rare architecturally significant hilltop home features a fully fenced in, landscaped yard, perfect for dogs (for a standard Airbnb pet fee), a Greek style amphitheater with a string hammock, and an outdoor genuine jacuzzi hot tub.

[Please note: Airbnb has a strict nationwide policy for no parties - as such, this property does not allow parties or gatherings. No guests are permitted beyond the number of guests listed on the reservation without express permission in advance. Also: as this is in an upscale neighborhood and the neighbors have children, there is no hot tub use after 10 PM, and because Silver lake is a fire zone - there is no smoking allowed on the premises. The house itself is on six levels with four levels of decks - featuring premium views of Silver Lake, the Hollywood sign, and Griffith Observatory.

Level One has two bedrooms, each with echo dots, desks and smart TVs (one also has a stand-sit desk). Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, private entrances and open out to a huge deck with outdoor living room style furniture. There is also a full bathroom on this level with a shower/tub combination. One bedroom also has a mini fridge, Brita water filter, microwave/toaster, coffee maker, and dishware.

Level One also has a privacy door that closes it off from the upstairs levels so that this can effectively be its own private level if desired.

Level Two is housekeeper storage.

Level Three is the Great Room, with dining table that seats eight, full kitchen, and living room with OLED TV. Level three opens out to its own deck with outdoor seating for meals.

Level Four has the main entrance to the house, a guest bathroom, the gym (complete with olympic weights), and laundry facilities.

Level Five is the Glass Balcony - a beautiful office space with an entire glass wall that overlooks the rest of the house (and a shade that automatically closes to provide privacy), a stand-sit desk, a massage chair, and a private outdoor deck with the best views in the house.

NOTE: the Glass Balcony can be turned into a fourth bedroom on advance request, with a queen sized pull out bed.

Level Six is the Master suite with a four poster bed, a hanging interior hammock chair, picture windows, it's own private deck with a hanging wicker chair and views of the lake, and a full bathroom with two sinks, two showers (one a tub combo) and Japanese toilet.

Parking: room for two cars, side-by-side in the driveway. Street parking is plentiful, safe and free.

The home sits at the top of a hill overlooking Whole Foods, CVS, Starbucks and a bountiful selection of friendly, family owned restaurants and diners, all just steps away.

You will be only 15 minutes from Hollywood, Downtown, and Glendale, and a mere 10 minutes from Dodger’s stadium. Quick access to the 5 or 101 freeways gives you a head start on any of your travels.

Note - the owner also rents out the downstairs unit of the house ONLY WHEN NO ONE IS RENTING THE WHOLE HOUSE. Meaning, when the whole house is rented, there are NO OTHER GUESTS. So, don't be surprised if you see a listing for the downstairs unit - it will NOT BE BOOKED during your stay. You get the entire place!
