Quiet, peaceful, friendly & lots of great food!
We are a short 5 minute walk from the major A, C, D, & E subway lines
The appartment was well located in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the Subway station. The room was smaller than I expected but it was enough for one person! I would recommend this to anyone with a tight budget who just needs a place to sleep.
Christian was very gracious and accomodating when my flight was very delayed and I arrived around midnight. He and his girlfriend are nice people. The apartment is close to subway stations and shops. The room is small which isn't a problem, but the house badly needs a thorough clean. I understand as students, cleaning probably isn't a high priority. But my feet were covered in dirt by walking on their floors, the guest bathroom shower curtain is covered in mould, the bathroom walls, sink and toilet are filthy and the kitchen did not have much in the way of proper plates and clean cutlery etc. You get what you pay for!
It was a very good experience that stayed in Christian's place. Convenient, quiet and clean. A nice bedroom with fan and a independent bathroom with free towels for customers. And, Christian is a big fan of Game of Throne, you definitely cannot miss staying with him if you're a fan too :)
Christian and his roommates are very nice people! I didn't see him that much but I could always text him and he helped me with everything I needed! The apartment matched the photos and all in all I had a great time in New York. I would stay there another time :) I can really recommend his place.
It was great, the place is nice and well located near subways stations. good host !!!
The house was great, and Christian, Nicola and Sable were welcoming and very nice.
Christian was such a super host. He gave me great directions of how to get there and welcomed me when I arrived. The apartment is in a really great area - Hamilton Heights is safe and Convent Avenue is full of trees and beautiful architecture. New York City College is very near by and utterly stunning. The apartment is really comfortable and the room is bigger than it looks - it's perfectly adequate - I stayed for a week and wouldn't hesitate to go back. It has perfect transport connections - the A line is the express - into the centre of town in 20 minutes and you can get just about anywhere. I was made to feel very welcome and it really felt like home. Everyone in the building is super friendly too and it just has such a lovely feel to it. I would definitely recommend this place - it's more central than you would think and a really great area, plus it's such good value. Nicolette, Christian's partner is also lovely and Sable, the other house mate is terrific - you will feel very welcome and you couldn't pick a better place to stay!
