Great location, adorable accommodation, attentive and punctual hostess. Only downside was hearing the occupants upstairs but I always pack earplugs everywhere I go anywhere and even those of us who didn't wear earplugs had no problem sleeping.

Response from Anjali:
Yes! This is a very fun location! This is a duplex with 2 lovely private places to stay. Our House Rules call for quiet time 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. for both places. However, if you want to still play and stay up late, wonderful! Hootenanny is around the corner, up and down on N. Mississippi Ave. So, if someone in the duplex is noisy or if you have questions or requests, please let us know...while you are here. If we can do something about it, we most definitely will. Your comfort is our preference! We look forward to your stay!

Great subterranean flat that stayed nice and cool despite the 100+ temps this week. The location was perfect and Anjali was a wonderful host!

This place was the perfect place for us. We decided to move to Oregon, we stayed at Anjali's place while my girlfriend and I found jobs and lined up an apartment. Anjali's place was bigger than it appeared in the photos, which was a nice suprise. She keeps her property neat and clean. We loved all of the businesses near by literally the next street over. We definatelt enjoyed walking around her area, it helped us get a strong feel for the culture. Anjali is an awesome host, she offered her input and help often. She accepted our 2 dogs into her home, she even greeted them any time she had the chance. Neighbors are very nice, one of which borrowed his tools to me and talked with me while I fixed my car. We highly reccomend Anjali's place.

Not as advertised. It is a one bedroom in a basement unit with sitting area, bathroom, and small kitchen nook. Cement, cold and damp floors, minimum heat that wasn't even working. Hardly a garden....very misleading and way too high priced for what was offered. Go in warm weather and don't pay more than $83. ....
Anjali User Profile
Response from Anjali:
We've happily & successfully rented out this basement garden apartment for over 18 years. It's fully permitted as a bonifide 1 bedroom apartment with a 11x17' living room and dining area, separate bedroom 11x12' with its own door (so not a studio). The galley kitchen has a new 20 cu ft Kitchenaid dutch door refrigerator with full sized freezer, a full sized stove and oven, a full sized commercial-grade Maytag washer and dryer. The floors are cement with faux finish and area rugs. The furnace is central natural gas heating for the entire duplex. The thermostat is set at factory setting and the thermometer in this unit confirms the 68- 70F, same as factory settings. However, if you really need to get it cooking, there's easy access back up space heaters in the closet! That's completely up to the guest. The rates are set by Airbnb through their Smart Pricing. We do our best for our guests to have happy experiences while here.

What a great time I have hosting people from all over the world. It's like traveling while staying at home!

This location in Mississippi District is ground-zero for fun. I love helping people make the most of their stay, however they like! Having lived here quite awhile, I'm a font of info on a wide array of interests.
