  • We have been in Harrogate for three days taking part in an event in the Conference Center. Christina gave us a very warm welcome even if we where arriving late in the middle of the night. The place is spaceous and very well equipped. A perfect place to be. Thank you Christina for opening up your home.

  • Spacious, comfortable and homely apartment. Very convenient location, good parking. Cristina was a very welcoming host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We stayed at Christina's apartment during our weekend away catching up, shopping and visiting the Harrogate Steam rooms. Christina's apartment is GORGEOUS, and she was really friendly and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed - soft comfy beds and crisp linen, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, spacious living room, good wifi and a pleasant 10 min walk into the centre along cold bath road, with lovely shops and cafes. We even took a stroll around the beautiful Valley gardens across the road.
A great trip, lovely apartment and friendly host, thank you

  • We had a fantastic stay at Cristina's place. The apartment was spacious, had great amenities and was very close to the centre of town. Cristina and her mother were great hosts and communication was excellent. They were particularly accommodating given our booking was very last minute which we were incredibly grateful for. Hopefully we'll get to stay there again in the future.

  • A group of friends and myself stayed in Cristina's apartment over a bank holiday weekend. The whole process was made very easy due to Cristina being so friendly and easy to talk to, always speedy responding to emails if I did have any problems. Flat is in great condition and within 5-10 min walk into Harrogate centre made it ideal for us. I would definitely look at staying here again if we are to return for another visit.
    Thanks again Cristina

  • Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Cristina but her communication before and during her stay was excellent, making this a very simple process.

The apartment is spacious and in a great position to explore Harrogate on foot. Our Daughter enjoyed exploring the valley gardens, which are situated at the end of the road, so really convenient.

  • Cristina is wonderful host, we couldn't meet her in face but she helped us organize key pick-up and drop-off by her friend who is living near the place. The place is very neat and nice with all the things inside, it's just a house maybe Cristina's family used to use it for their daily life. Master room is very spacious just like the picture and children's room was a bit small for 2 person but it was fine. Living room was very big and there was nice keyboard we could play. Kitchen was nice too. But if you carry big big baggage, it's not easy to carry the baggage up to the flat. Regular size baggage doesn't matter. Thank you very much Cristina, it was nice talking on the phone, hope we can see in face next time! Very recommendable place!

  • Spacious, homely apartment, very well situated close to town via the lovely Valley Gardens. Very good value with two double bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and kitchen. As the host was away, we picked up the keys from a family member in town and all went well.

About
I'm well travelled and work in international development, so having an open mind is the order of the day! My family is an incredible mix of French, Spanish and English culture, so there's never a dull moment at the dinner table. The five things I can't live without? Occitaine body cream, my i-phone (shame on me for mentioning the i-word), my kindle, my computer, my family. I know that makes me sound very techy minded, but it does allow me to travel and not be tied to the desk. My favourite travel destination? the Himalayas (Nepalese side) Favourite book is the prophet by Khalil Gibran Favorite movey 'The Straight story' by David Lynch, an old man decides to travel to see his brother and has to make a journey across the state on the back of a lawnmower. It's a must see! Favorite music, anything semi-acoustic, Ryan Adams, is pretty up there on my list. Favorite food, probably something pasta associated. Thank God for the Italians! As a guest, I'm very respectful of someone else's living space. I like to share dinner, conversation a good bottle of wine. As a host, it's the same. My life motto ' Whatever you think you can do, or dream you can do, do it. For boldness has beauty, magic and power in it.' By Goethe.
