About this listing
This is a spacious and elegant two bedroom apartment in central Harrogate with free parking round the back of the house; we are a few minutes walk from the Harrogate International Centre (Conference Centre) and Harrogate’s town centre.
The apartment is tastefully decorated and offers the luxury of a hotel with the space to relax, cook and dine with friends.
The apartment comes with a fully equipped contemporary kitchen, bed linen and towels, an LCD TV, DVD and Free Wi-Fi broadband. Children of all ages are welcome and we have left toys behind for any families that wish to stay.
The apartment is ideally situated opposite the beautiful Valley Gardens where you can find tennis courts, children's playground and a golf course. The gardens lead into expansive woodlands, and beautiful country side walks. No smoking on the premises.
Please be mindful of neighbours and noise to others in the building late at night.
We would also ask that care be taken with any toys or objects that have been left behind for families to enjoy.
Great place! The flat was very comfortable and had a lot of charm. Cristina was very prompt and friendly in responding to queries made before and during the trip. My friends and myself had a great stay.
A lovely apartment and lovely host. Cristina made us feel very, very welcome, meeting us on arrival and showing us around the apartment. The apartment is in a great location for an easy walk to the centre of Harrogate and right next to Valley Gardens (perfect for the two children with us and those who visited - everyone enjoyed the excellent playground and bouncy castle). Thank you Cristina.
It was a brilliant holiday. Lovely flat in an ideal location and very homely. Cristina was so friendly and helpful that we felt very welcome. Will definitely be looking to stay again if possible.
Cristina made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was exactly as advertised. The neighbourhood was excellent - close enough to the town centre and a beautiful park - perfect for attending an event at the Harrogate International Centre.
The reservation was canceled 20 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We have been in Harrogate for three days taking part in an event in the Conference Center. Christina gave us a very warm welcome even if we where arriving late in the middle of the night. The place is spaceous and very well equipped. A perfect place to be. Thank you Christina for opening up your home.
About the Host, Cristina
I'm well travelled and work in international development, so having an open mind is the order of the day! My family is an incredible mix of French, Spanish and English culture, so there's never a dull moment at the dinner table.
The five things I can't live without? Occitaine body cream, my i-phone (shame on me for mentioning the i-word), my kindle, my computer, my family. I know that makes me sound very techy minded, but it does allow me to travel and not be tied to the desk.
My favourite travel destination? the Himalayas (Nepalese side)
Favourite book is the prophet by Khalil Gibran
Favorite movey 'The Straight story' by David Lynch, an old man decides to travel to see his brother and has to make a journey across the state on the back of a lawnmower. It's a must see!
Favorite music, anything semi-acoustic, Ryan Adams, is pretty up there on my list.
Favorite food, probably something pasta associated. Thank God for the Italians!
As a guest, I'm very respectful of someone else's living space. I like to share dinner, conversation a good bottle of wine. As a host, it's the same.
My life motto ' Whatever you think you can do, or dream you can do, do it. For boldness has beauty, magic and power in it.' By Goethe.
