The Frangipani Fine Arts Hotel is tucked away down a quiet side alley close to the campus of the School of Fine Arts on the edge of Phnom Penh's bustling art district.
This contemporary boutique hotel has 22 rooms on 3 floors cleverly built around a leafy central courtyard that ensures the hotel is naturally well lit and airy. The Fine Arts Restaurant is on the ground floor.
The spacious rooms are examples of contemporary Cambodian design, featuring polished concrete floors, terrazzo bathroom styling, and furniture and fittings in wood, silk and other natural materials manufactured by leading Cambodian producers.
The Frangipani Fine Arts Hotel is located in the centre of Phnom Penh a short distance from the Royal Palace and the National Museum and close to the city's vibrant Sisowath Quay river front home to an extensive range of restaurants and designer shops.
Location but a little difficult to understand, it was a very good hotel and quiet.
Security is also no problem.
First hotel we stayed in Cambodia was really good here.
Thank you everyone.
Hidden in 178th Street, with a small signboard, the alleyway entrance takes you to a spacious and charming hotel terrace-restaurant-reception. I was having a very good stay on a first floor room until a toilette drainage problem emerged. The issue was quickly solved by the hotel staff and I was moved to a nearby room on the same floor. The check-out was so easy, but the driver with the tuk-tuk #009 didn't show up at 5.30am, so the staff helped with some early calls and a new tuk-tuk unit arrived and took me to the Airport.
My friend Micaella and I stayed at the Frangipani Fine Arts Hotel during our stay in Phnom Penh. We had a very pleasant stay here and the staff were very cordial. Our room was very nice, my only complaint was that the shower surged, so it could get uncomfortably hot sometimes.
The hotel is in a fantastic location; within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, sites, etc. You really could not pick a better location in Phnom Penh. Moreover, there is some great local food (including fried duck embryo) just a block away, where there are very few tourists. So if you're hoping to have a more authentic experience, you can actually get that staying here, as well as being in close proximity to so many tourist sites. Highly recommend staying here.
Felt very welcome on arrival and then taken to a sister hotel with a pool, which was an added bonus.
Didn't stayed here as our booked room was taken up by other guests although we did mention about doing a very late check-in. But this issue was promptly resolved by their staff and we were moved to Frangipani Royal hotel just down the same street. I'd say it was great customer service but I'm unable to comment on the other areas of this hotel.

The Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel is situated in the heart of Phnom Penh on the edge of the citys art district and couple of minutes walk from the bustling river front area and the historic Royal Palace.
With a roof top pool and restaurant, our own spa, and spacious, comfortable rooms, the hotel is the perfect base from which to explore Cambodia’s capital.
