Bright, airy 2 bedroom, 1 bath 1300sq foot home is all wood floors. Both bedrooms have queen beds, master has a waterbed (super cool in summer!) and a TV with DVD player in the bedroom.
Look on the calendar for specials!
Pastoral purple mountain majesty is visible from either the 12'x5' window in the dinning room or from the Master.
A futon (or 2) in the main area of the house can provide an extra bed if the two in the bedrooms are not enough.
Other amenities include: basketball hoop, backs up to a park (great for small kids!), hammock, great access to green space walks, no close neighbors, quick walk to bus stop, house evaporative cooler.
P.S. The amenities around our house are great for those with kids and inside we have nothing in terms of low to the ground breakables, however cabinets are not childproofed, kid dishes are limited and there is currently no high chair. (Though that could be changed)
The house has been partitioned into two units upstairs and down. This listing is for the upstairs and restricts access to the basement unit.
Interaction with Guests
The house is home to cats. They are never allowed in the bedrooms. While you stay they will be closed in the basement.
The basement unit, including the back door, mudroom, and evaporative cooler can be partitioned off with upon request so that we can access and stay in the basement without coordination or disturbance. If you choose this please give notice before the start of your stay.
For all stays I will access the locked detached garage and be outside to take care of the garden and animals.
On our block there is a Jump bus stop which will take you into Boulder.
House was as described, host was very nice and accommodated to our group. She made things easy and even gave us information on local places of interest.
The house is as described and only minutes from access to everything. Alexis and Dan made us feel quite at home and the house was a great "Base Camp" for our two weeks stay in Colorado. Great value, great listing and great hosts!
The house was as it appears in the picture. Everything was clean and the host made adequate space for our things. Our privacy was respected although the host stays in a separate residence in the basement. The mountain views are beautiful from the home. There is a cat in the house. The cat was in the basement and did not trigger my allergies but it does meow quite a bit and you can hear it in the house above.
Lovely place, close to highway, nice hosts, clean house, groceries not far away.
A great house to stay at!
Location and views are exactly as described. Host offered to answer any questions at check-in and via phone or text during our stay. Additional privacy from rear entrance to basement access where Host stayed was offered, but not needed. Noted a trampoline mentioned in one review, but only saw a hammock. Plenty of parking. Clean bathroom and linens. Host was very friendly and accommodating to kids. Some personal collections not easily "hidden" from curious children under age of 5.
A nice simple home. saved my family money with a better experience than a hotel. A nice safe neighborhood to stay in. Close to the highway and 10 min from food markets. They did have some goats in the back that were not an issue at all, and we were getting up early so the rooster was not bothersome. The host was very flexible since I had some last minute changes. Didn't get to meet the host but she was very helpful.
The hosts were pleasant and helpful. The living room has a beautiful view of the mountains. The neighborhood is safe and close to grocery store and a short drive to Boulder.
There are several farm animals living in the backyard. We didn't mind the goats and the ducks etc, however the rooster was very noisy. We could hear it all the time, especially very early in the morning. Didn't fancy being woken up at 5 a.m. when on vacation. Also, the cats that were in the basement during our stay were quite loud and could be heard from the bedrooms late in the night.
Also, the house was not very clean. Especially around the beds it was quite dusty and we found some spiders.
When saw you the first day I said if anything was even slightly a problem to let me know. The rooster and cats could have been relocated. The cleaning service I used was new and came in the night before you checked in so I didn't see the finished result. Getting them back in probably would not have been hard - and I would have known not to use them again. I really wish you had told me you had issues, I want everyone who stays here to have a great stay.
