  • Nice place for a comfortable stay...great location an actually walkable neighborhood in LA ! whole foods, trader joe, the farmers market and the Grove are less than a 5 minute walk as are some great restaurants and cafes on third street. Brian was a very friendly and gracious host.

  • Love everything about Brian's place!

First the location. It is close to everything worth visiting by car, public transit and walking. Brian provides a parking permit for you to use so parking is almost never an issue. It is also close to Hollywood, West Hollywood and Beverly Hills if you want to explore those places without a car, and it is only a short car drive away from the beach, downtown LA and the valleys.

It is also conveniently located by The Grove, Whole Foods and Trader Joes, the latter two being two of my favorite grocery store so you save a ton on food. It is also close to a myriad of trendy restaurants, shops and cute little knick knock shops!

The apartment is very nice, very cute, the layout is wonderful and it is very airy and alot of natural light comes in without it being 'too bring'. There is a nice private patio with a small vegetable garden, and you can help yourself to some nice vine ripened tomatoes which were delicious. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and dining utensils, pots, pans and dishes.

And last but not the least, the host is magnificent. Brian made it very easy to swap keys, made sure you feel welcomed and made it very easy to use and take advantage of all that his apartment and location has to offers. He provides very detailed instructions on how to use the various amenities offered, provides you with all the comforts of home living and is very easy to get along with to boot. He was very communicative and very easy to get a hold of. Everything was a breeze basically!

Overall, I would not hesitate to book his place. I loved everything about my stay, and would definitely look to see if Brian's place is available first every time I need a place to stay in LA. You will not regret it!

  • I came to LA with my fiancee to look for a wedding venue over a weekend, and Brian's apartment was ideal. It was exceptionally clean, and comfortably fit both of us. Getting in and out was convenient, and Brian stayed in contact with us during our entire stay. In terms of ease of arrival and departure, this was everything we could ask for. The neighborhood is great--and indeed, it's a short walk to the Grove and Farmer's Market, two sites worth seeing in LA, and if you want to grab a drink after dinner, you can do so on 3rd street, which is just a block away. If you have a car, Brian will leave you a parking pass for the block (but beware, it only works for his block, not the entire street; although the block occasionally fills up, we never had a problem finding a space).

  • It was a great pleasure staying at Brian's and it was really a great apartment in the heart of walkable LA. It was definitely a comfortable home away from home and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a cosy nook in LA. Also, Brian was super responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed which was a great bonus!

  • Brian's apartment was magnificent! Very comfortable and extremely well kept. My fiance and I were able to go out onto our own private patio and have dinner facing a very beautiful sunset every evening. I am so happy I found this listing. My vacation definitely wouldn't have turned out as amazing if I hadn't. Brian always keeps an open line of communication and is very easy to reach. He even left us a list of instructions as to where everything can be found (in and outside of the home.) I would definitely recommend this apartment and will surely stay there again on my next visit to California!

  • We had a real pleasure staying at Brian's apartment! The location is very good, in a really nice street and near many stores and Farmers' Market at walking distance. It's a good place to relax after visiting LA. Brian had quick answers to our questions and left plenty of instructions and guide books. We definitely recommend staying here and will come back next time in LA.

  • Simply Awesome. The best bed I have ever slept in EVER. The place is clean and there's plenty of natural light and the fridge was STOCKED and he left maps and guide books for us and I discovered Hulu tv! Great location right near The Grove and markets and bus stops. And to top it all off, he's like the nicest guy ever. I would love to use this place as a base next time I am back.
