The Space

This stylish Rome loft for rent is situated in the historic district called “Rione Trastevere“.

This is a perfect starting point for discovering the city! You can’t miss the visit of the famous Piazza di Santa Cecilia, especially by night when it is illuminated by many torches. We also recommend you to have a dinner at “Ristorante la Gensola“, just nearby.

This air conditioned apartment is on the third floor of an 18th century building that unfortunately doesn’t have a lift; once you will enter the apartment you will understand immediately that it is worthwhile to climb the 3 floors!

The living room is modern and stylish and develops on two different levels. On the lower level, there is a comfortable sofa, a coffee table in front of it, a Sat TV, Internet access and a library.

A large dining table with chairs is provided. A modern and design staircase will lead you to the upper level where you will find a desirable studio with a writing desk and a couch that turns into a double sofa bed.

The kitchen is all the rage and fully equipped: gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, dish washer and washing machine.

The master bedroom is bright and spacious, featuring a king size bed, night tables, abat-jour and wardrobe. The en suite bathroom has a shower.

We recommend this fashion unit for romantic stays.

  • Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Rom - dank eines äußerst zuvorkommenden und hilfsbereiten Gastgebers. Wir haben uns im Loft sehr wohlgefühlt und können es bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen!

  • Fantastic location in Trastevere, very close to the Garibaldi bridge, with great access to Campo di Fiori and the Ghetto (and everything beyond) - great walking location. The loft is new and clean and comfortably slept 3 people - two sharing a queen sized bed and a third on a pull out couch. The apartment consists of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room on the first floor. There are steps up to a sleeping loft with a pull out couch and a large TV. The steps are not suitable for kids or anyone with limited mobility.
The kitchen is minimally equipped - if you want to do a lot of cooking I'd check in with hosts about adding a few things. There is a coffee maker, gas stove, a fridge and a pot or two. Across the street Is a Forno shop where you can get coffee, pastries, antipasti and really amazing pistachio biscotti (don't miss them). Hosts communicated well and were very friendly and responsive in advance when we needed things ( soap, blankets). We'd stay again!
One note - this i a fairly noisy, lively neighborhood - if you need complete quiet it might no be right for you. And the flat is up five flights of stairs - no lift.

  • Very nice accommodations. Very clean, exactly as advertised. We were in the trastevere loft. Pick up service was excellent - he was there to greet us just outside the luggage carousel. We drove from airport to apartment in very sharp (though small) BMW. Driver seemed surprised that we would have four large bags of luggage, however he got them all in the back somehow.
Lorenzo's representative Honey was there to greet us with the keys at the appointed time, and everything went fine. Great loft - our kids love sleeping up there. A/C worked fine, and Wifi worked great too. Great location in center of action in Trastevere area. Great value too compare to Best Western hotel we were considering.

  • Lorenzo was kind enough to leave a positive review for me, thank you for that. Unfortunately this will not prevent me from leaving an honest review on this apartment. Few things made my stay pretty miserable there. A) I informed Lorenzo about late check out in advance, he seemed to be ok, and it was only after I processed the payment, and literary on the day of my arrival that I found out that late check out is impossible and I have to leave early (with my next flight being at 8 pm). B) Noise. Dreadful. There's construction and drilling around the place, which, surprise surprise, the host never mentioned, so I didn't sleep any of the 3 nights I stayed there; C) cleanliness. I advise being allergic to dust and asked for the place to be freshly cleaned. Guess what. I lived with layers of dust and overall impression of the place being not clean. Not a nice feeling. Other things include: asked for recommendation as to eating and shopping in the area - ignored completely; the place is NOT what it looks on the pics, it's shabby and not clean; Lorenzo never showed up and never asked for feedback. I'll leave advice for Lorenzo separately, but in a nutshell - this platform is supposed to provide experience different to what you get at hotels or one-off real estate rentals. One expects to get an insight into local life through hosts and essentially be treated as a friend rather than a tenant - with that care and attention. If you are not able or willing to provide that and meet such expectations, you shouldn't be on Airbnb. Thanks

    Response from Lorenzo:

Dear Natalie, thank you for your feedback. To answer to your comment, first of all I would like to tell you that the late check out is not always possible (I always do my best in order to do it, but when there is another reservation, I can't do it); then, with regards to the noise you heard due to construction, this is not under my control. I was not aware of the situation at the moment of the booking; lastly, I really apologize for the lake of cleanings and for the dust. For this, I really feel sorry because the apartment could have been better cleaned. Lorenzo
