I make a few recommendations of places to eat and drink :
In the corner of San Roque
street you have the Bodeguilla San Roque , generous portions and a bit different , very good octopus dishes are good eats .
Franco Street , is where all the restaurants Santiago lifetime and tavern type , Submarine , Jack Black , The Cellar, The Trafalgar typical Galician food. Maria Brown for typical servings.
Mariscada good value for money Rapido , but only seafood ..
To eat well whatever you want all 1st quality, very good rice with lobster or seafood, meats , fish, octopus with potato cream , also seafood pie, if they left , tb you can take ox haceis you at the table, dessert for those who like chocolate have a chocolate cake with rich toffee background , also the banana , coffee and cream liqueur pomace rich . The Barrola to book the weekend (phone number hidden) if you go ask for Pepe , the owner and would you say that going from Antonio de Urve . Average high price depending on if you take wine and seafood.
The most expensive fare, but I prefer the Barrola .
For more affordable meat and marico 42 , say q going from Antonio de Urve .
If weather is nice and you want to eat in a garden at the street door of the rock parallel to San Roque Down, Casa Felisa , octopus and very good pie .
For the San Pelayo back of the Cathedral there are many pubs with character , I recommend El Paraiso Perdido, San Paio Antealtares 3 here are two pubs together Paraiso is that it is a basement, The Wrack on the slope of Gelmirez , if you like hot chocolate Metate the old chocolate Factory , open from 19.00 .
A Casa das Crechas also it's worth , is a little below the Plaza de Cervantes to the cathedral in Via Sacra 3 .
Also lifelong O Galo de Ouro cas ia next to the cathedral in the Rua da Conga 14-15 . On the same street is the Kuns that you can go to 1 hour or until 4.00
The hearth also momo in the Virgin near 23 with a lovely ideal but good weather or inside garden for a glass of 1 hour.
If you want one coktel first , business was champion of Spain coktelería , go to Rua Nova 12 VAOVA - Gastro, right now is the local fashion . starting from 1.0 to 3.00
To dance and have fun and if you like the music of the (phone number hidden) there is a little hole in San stair called A choiva to go from 1.30 , and people of all ages will dance . In that area have seen a very many pubs to choose from. Later you can go Al Quintana at the Plaza de la Quintana , Altarpiece in the new rua this is the later of the old town close to 5:00 .
The source is the Armeria San Antonio from 4.00 and also the Sonar.
And if you can manage you can walk 5 minutes to the new area and go to the Blaster or Gabana in Republica Argentina , open until 6.30 or more and if you WANTto finish the route as championsto replenish strength in Galicia , with sandwiches and pizzas qa know those hours to glory , also very good chocolate with churros, in San Pedro de Mezonzo street perpendicular to the previous one.

Excellent apartment! Great experience overall. Mirian was very helpful and quick to communicate. The apartment is charming and clean - everything you need. And very well located as well. Highly recommend!!
Very well located and equipped apartment, close to the center of Santiago. Mirian was a nice host (no problem to meet her and to join her if there was any difficulty) even if she speaks and writes far better spanish than french! :-)
I would recommand this place for those who want to stay a few days to visit Santiago and/or enjoy the region.
Mirian's apartment is great! It is literally less than a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and center of the old city. There was plenty of space for 4 of us with two good size bedrooms, one with a balcony. The kitchen was well equipped. Mirian was very flexible with us about check-in and check-out and she was extremely welcoming and friendly when we arrived. This is an amazing deal for santiago. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location, 5 mins from cathedral. Lovely flat. Does what it says on the tin. Only possible negative is that the front room faces a main road so is a little noisy (cars) but after 22.00 you dont really hear anything. I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting.
After staying in a number of hotels it was great to stay a a place that offered all the amenities if home. Great working kitchen and with 4 of us there was plenty of room so that we didn't feel on top of each other. Very convenient location in the old city and our host was fantastic. She provided us with a long list of recommendations that didn't disappoint!
