The room is located right by our front door, to make coming and going easy. You are welcome to use our kitchen, including washer and dryer. Soak in our private hot tub after an active day, and relax in the living room, or on the deck or patio.
Interaction with Guests
In the morning we provide fresh coffee, or hot water and tea. We enjoy getting to know our guests and we're happy to introduce you to some of our favorite local spots.
Here are some of the things to do very close by:
Walk across the street to Park City Resort’s newest base area, Silver Star, where you’ll find a lift ticket office and the Silver Star lift, the quickest, least crowded way onto Park City’s slopes. The Silver Star base is also home to a great ski/sports shop, and a cafe.
Two resorts in one! Once you’re on the mountain, you’ll enjoy some huge upgrades that Vail Resorts brought to Park City. First, Canyons and Park City resorts are now one. A single lift ticket gives you access to both areas, the largest ski resort in the USA - 7,300 skiable acres, 300+ trails, 41 lifts, 14 bowls. The Silver Star lift takes you to the King Con zone, served by a new 6-pack lift. From there, just ski down to the completely rebuilt Miner’s Camp lodge and the new Quicksilver interconnect gondola between Park City and Canyons terrain. We’re in about the best location on the mountain.
Lift tickets: buy in advance online at Vail’s web site (website hidden) for the best price on Park City passes. There are no discounted lift tickets available locally, and same-day tickets are full price!
Other skiing: Deer Valley Resort is 10 minutes by car or 30 by Park City’s free shuttle bus system. Snowbird, Alta, Brighton and Solitude are all less than an hour away by car or paid canyon shuttle.
Out our back door is the 5km loop of White Pine Touring’s groomed X-C ski track. Also across the street is the Spiro/Armstrong trailhead for snowshoe expeditions into the Wasatch Mountains.
In summertime, the X-C ski track is better known as Park City Municipal Golf course; we’re located on the 14th hole, an easy walk to the pro shop and first tee. The Spiro/Armstrong trailhead across the street links you to Park City’s 400 miles of hiking and bike trails in the world’s first International Mountain Bike Association Gold Ride Center. Silver Star Sports across the street has mountain bike rentals or it’s a short walk to many other shops and activities.
We’re also just a few minutes' drive to backpacking in the Uintas and Wasatch ranges, and to fly-fishing on the Provo and Weber Rivers.
Other summertime activities and events include the Park Silly Sunday Market, many outdoor concerts, and the Kimball Arts Festival.
Across the street, the Silver Star Café has great food and weekly live music events. Other amenities within walking distance include Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Squatter’s Road House Grill, The Market and Fresh Market grocery stores, a state liquor store open ‘til 11pm, Chase Bank ATM and the Park City Resort center where you’ll find zip-lines, the Alpine Coaster and lots of family fun.
ARTS AND NIGHTLIFE
The Eccles Center and the historic Egyptian Theatre program live performances through the season, including music, dance, plays and standup comedy. Main Street is home to many quality art galleries as well as the Park City Museum. Main Street is also where most bars and night clubs are located.
From Salt Lake airport, drive or take a quick shuttle ride for round-trip transportation right to our door. Parking at our condominium is free, but is unsheltered. We recommend the shuttle because once you’re here it’s easy to get around without a car and shoveling out your car after a major powder dump just burns skiing time. However, for two people on a short stay, renting a car may be cheaper than an airport shuttle, and gives you the option to try other ski areas.
ONCE YOU’RE HERE
Closest ski lift: It takes about two minutes to walk across the street to the elevator that takes you straight up to the Silver Star lift. To get to other destinations, the free Park City bus system runs past our condo every 20 minutes, at about :06, :26 and :46 after the hour. The system serves the Park City base area, Canyons village and Deer Valley, as well as Historic Main Street, the outlet malls, Sundance Festival venues, and lots of restaurants and shopping. For more information, maps and schedules see the Park City Transit web site. Google Maps provides routing via the Park City transit system.

Motorcycle tourers: Dave's into adventure riding. We enjoy hosting bike travelers who are just passing through or who want to explore some great local motorbike roads. Parking is easy just outside our front door.
