Newly remodeled 18th century house by the Sorgue river, located in the "Rue des Roues", one of the nicest and most authentic streets of L'Isle sur Sorgue.
Calm and peaceful contemporary decorated room, with a nice "patio". Large and comfortable bathroom with italian shower. The access to the room is completely independant. In the summer, the room is naturally cooled thanks to the nearby river.
The whole house has been refurbished into a wonderful contemporary loft where Cecile works in her designer's workshop, which you can visit.
She will be happy to help you find nice places to visit, discover wonderful typical sights, and out-of-the-way places only known to the locals, to enjoy your stay.
Centrally located, parking garages, shops, antiques and art galleries are all nearby as well as the farmers' market, which takes place on Thursdays and Sundays.
The village is ideally located for festival goers, as it is within 30mn of Avignon, Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine. Also a good starting point for wine tasters.
Your stay will be memorable.

Great stay in a lovely place. The apartment is extremely close to the centre of town, the bus stop, train station and everything you will need.
I was there for the Sunday market and it was nice to walk around the town, stopping in cafes and enjoying the outdoors.
We enjoyed our stay at Cecile's home at the watermill house!
The room was spacious and the adjoining bathroom was lovely.
It was a quiet and restful retreat.
We enjoyed visiting with Cecile and her family and looking at her great artwork. Actually the entire home is a work of art, and should not be missed if you are looking for a place to stay in L'Isle sur la Sorgue.
We highly recommend this lovely town and this lovely home!
We had a great stay with Cécile. She was a very kind host, very welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed and was keen to recommend somewhere for us to eat on a Sunday night. Cécile invited us to breakfast with her on our final morning which gave us an opportunity to speak French!
Fantastic place - we really loved it! Thanks Cécile for a memorable stay. Although it is a not an individual flat, it is very private, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The bed is small, but comfortable, shower is roomy and the place is very clean.
The village is also gorgeous and just the right sized village to hang out in for a few days, not too small to have little to do, and not to big to be missing the kind of feeling a village of Provence should have!
We found it a little hard to find (apparently the only silly ones who've had that problem!), but if you also lack directional skills it's recommended to study up the map before hand - especially one of the village - and try to arrive in the daytime. Actually, get a GPS - don't skimp on that, it saves a lot of faffing about, trust me!
The house and the room a really impressive! In the bathroom is a small fridge to keep some food or drinks cold. Cecile was very helpful, she even made us a soup, when we didn't feel well.
Thanks for the nice stay!
Beautiful designer suite in a renovated mill in an enchanting town. Cecile is charming, helpful, and generous. A highlight of our trip to France.
What a wonderful place! What a wonderful host!
We feel incredible lucky to have stayed in Cecile’s home, it was really our best stay during our two-week trip on the south of France.
The house is really amazing, made by Cecile’s own design. Watermill in front of the house, glass floor in the workshop (you can even see fishes in the river!) and of course all interior objects handmade by Cecile – that’s really unique stylish house! Our room was very clean, spacious, light and quite. We felt so comfortable in it. The bathroom was gorgeous. And it was great that we could use a kettle to make a tea or coffee and a small fridge.
The location of the house was perfect with only a short walk to all of the sights, shops, cafes and restaurants of the town. And it was not a problem to find it.
Cecile is such a lovely, warmhearted hostess! She showed concern that everything was satisfactory and was so helpful with providing information and suggestions. She is a friendly, easy going, delicate and kind person and it was a pleasure to be in her home. It was the perfect balance of friendly welcome and privacy.
And at last our review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning of Cecile’s cat, so cute and charming. We miss you, Maya!
Thank you Cecile for your hospitality, and for your restaurant suggestions, and for your help with computer, and for the breakfast and for the wine at Stephan’s Caveau de la Tour de l’Isle, and generally for opening your home to us!
Hope to see you again! O&A
Staying chez Cécile was simply wonderful.
The room is close to Cécile's design studio and is perfect: clean, fresh and very cool!
And Isle sur la Sorgue is a very strategic point to explore the Luberon region, pretty close to everything you could have to see and visit and also a very cool little town to have dinner and make a walk by the river.
But most of all Cécile (and Marc too) made us feel like at home: she is super discrete, but so helpful and ready to help any time you need a suggestion or an advice. And she also prepared a special breakfast the day we were leaving. :)
We stayed there only two nights but we would have booked a much longer period. I definitely hope to have the chance to come back one day or another.
Cécil has a wonderful house located near to the center. The room is very nice furnished and the bathroom is huge and cleen. We immediatly fell in love with the house when we sow the water mill. But when we enter in the house was even better!! Cècile was very kind and caring. We really enjoy staing in her house. Is the best choice if you want to visit L'isle-sur-la-sourge and do some antique shopping!
Cécile était merveilleux et sa maison est vraiment magnifique.
