About this listing
Newly remodeled 18th century house by the Sorgue river, located in the "Rue des Roues", one of the nicest and most authentic streets of L'Isle sur Sorgue.
Calm and peaceful contemporary decorated room, with a nice "patio". Large and comfortable bathroom with italian shower. The access to the room is completely independant. In the summer, the room is naturally cooled thanks to the nearby river.
The whole house has been refurbished into a wonderful contemporary loft where Cecile works in her designer's workshop, which you can visit.
She will be happy to help you find nice places to visit, discover wonderful typical sights, and out-of-the-way places only known to the locals, to enjoy your stay.
Centrally located, parking garages, shops, antiques and art galleries are all nearby as well as the farmers' market, which takes place on Thursdays and Sundays.
The village is ideally located for festival goers, as it is within 30mn of Avignon, Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine. Also a good starting point for wine tasters.
Your stay will be memorable.
Cecile's studio is in a convenient location for touring this quaint pretty town on the River Sorgue. Cecile waited patiently to greet us... We had a little confusion finding her without a map and wifi, once orientated we were fine. Thanks for you comfortable, clean accommodation Cecile!!
Cécile is a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful, and the setup allowed us a lot of privacy and made us feel like we had our very own home. She was also very helpful with recommendations, and very kindly pointed out off-the-map places we could picnic in the stunning Luberon valley. Her home is very well located, comfortable, and her cat Maya is a delight!
Ceciles home is wonderful
Immaculately clean and very comfortable
We found her home easily with our GPS delivering us to her door to a easy unpack and straight to a nearby car park
The location is excellent with the village at your doorstep but at the same time we found the bedroom to be very quiet with no street noise
The design of her home is very clever and at no time did we feel we were intruding on Ceciles privacy or her on ours
Ceciles English is very good and she is s very wonderful welcoming hostess
The room is perfectly well situated in the centre of Isle-sur-la-Sorge with everthing, including free parking space at walking distance. The room is spacious with a good bed. Bathroom and toilet, which are shared with the owner are perfect. Evertything clean as well.
1 remark, a comfortable chair would have completed the otherwise perfect room
Cecile warmly welcomed us to her home. We are a couple in our early 60's and this was a perfect place for us in l'Isle sur la Sorque. It had modern renovations, was immacuately clean and had a great central location. She is a gracious host who took a personal interest in making sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend her place.
