Our home is a charming and cozy 2 bedroom one bathroom on one of the most beautiful and safe streets of Plateau Mont Royal.
The 2 bedrooms are opened up to form a huge bedroom and study or can be separated by a curtain when it's time to put the kids to bed. Just to make sure it's clear, we have a queen size bed in the main bedroom as you see in the pics, in the other bedroom a double bed. We have an inflatable queen size mattress available if there are more than 4 guests.
The whole apt has been redone, so brand new wood flooring throughout, brand new kitchen and bathroom.
The Kitchen is fully decked with large fridge, stove, toaster, blender, glassware, plates, utensils.
We have wireless internet, and a 27inch flat screen TV with ROKU internet based television. (this means that you can watch movies but you have to have your own account). If you want to know more about it, you can (website hidden) ROKU internet TV.
On a nice day, you can enjoy the outdoors by sitting in the front porch area, or the large garden in the back where we have a bbq and high table/bar, as well as nice trees and plants and of course our mini vegetable garden, and fruit plants.
Once you step onto our quaint and picturesque street you are just around the corner from famous Parc La Fontaine and it's large man made lake, a short walk from famous Duluth Ave with it's cobble stone streets and many restaurants such as the famous Au Pied de Cochon. Avenue Rachel is a short walk away. Rue St Denis is a 5 minute walk with more shopping and restaurants than we can count.
Downtown Montreal, Place des Arts, Eglise Notre Dame, and Old port are all a 5-10 minute bike ride from the house.
So you are super centrally located while having the feel that you are on the Plateau.
Our street is part of the Plateau section where you are more likely to run into Europeans coming from France, Portugal, Holland, Italy, and of course it's an artsy upscale neighborhood.
We love it!
For transportation, if you have a car, you can find plenty of space for free on the street just outside the house. Just make sure to look at the signs and not park where it's for resident permit parking.
As for us we like to use the BIXI bike sharing system, and we are lucky to have 4 BIXI station all around us within a 2 minute walk. For skateboarders, Plateau is the ideal neighborhood!
Also, the metro station at Sherbrooke is a 7 minute walk.
We are a 15 minute walk from the Berri Uqam bus station which is the last stop for the 747 express bus from the airport. So the bus brings you almost at the doorstep :-), super easy to go to and from the airport.
Whether it's your first visit to Montreal or you're a veteran of the city, this place will make you fall in love with the city all over again. We wouldn't be in Montreal if it wasn't for this neighborhood and the people that live in it.
We look forward to hosting you and answering all your questions.

The location was excellent on a quiet street next to Parc Lafontaine, but most important to us a whole bunch of restaurants. The space was small but functional as we only slept in the apartment. With the exception of short cabs back from downtown, we were able to walk everywhere. We were a bit lazy but it's generally a short walk to Mont Royal for the Tamtams, famous restaurants, Au pied du Cochon, Romados, la banquise, and many more. We throughly enjoyed our first trip to Montreal and will be back when thI weather warms up even more.
Nadim was great! I arrived a couple of hours earlier than I expected. I told him there was no rush but he got there within 30 minutes. In the meantime, I walked over to a local cafe and got some coffee.
The apt is in an amazing neighborhood. Much more interesting than staying downtown. Great restaurants, just a couple of blocks from a large park. Short walk to Metro stations or bus lines.
Totally recommend for anyone looking to experience Montreal from more of a local's perspective than as a tourist.
This apartment is absolutely amazing! Super close to Mile End and great restaurants. It has all the necessities needed for cooking especially! Nadim was a great guest and left the apartment in great condition, always available to answer our questions!
Go for it!
Nadim and his home were both very accommodating. It's perfectly located in a quiet corner of the plateau, and it had everything we needed for our stay. One word of caution - Nadim lists his $60 cleaning fee in the house rules section instead of in the airbnb fees, and he expects you to leave it for the maid in cash before you leave, so be careful if you're comparing the cost of his listing against others using airbnb's calculation of the total cost, which will omit this $60. This caught us by surprise, but I have to confess I didn't read the house rules before booking (and I assume most people don't).

I love living on the beach, surfing, running, biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, doing yoga, meditating, reading, and of course traveling.
The most important thing to me when I meet people is to know that their are authentic human beings. If you are one.... I hope to meet you soon!
