J. Wes was a wonderful host! Extremely responsive, nice, and the house is great. We stayed here for my friend's bachelorette party. It was a blast and the house was perfect and in the most perfect location. Highly recommend.
This place was honestly even better than we imagined. So, so clean, spacious and perfectly located. We even got invited to join the hosts for a BBQ and some World Cup watching! Perfect, chilled-out retreat with comfortable beds, quirky decor and all-around great vibes. We are all hoping to return to Nashville at some point just so we can stay at J.Wes' pad! Great recommendations for food and we were super sad we missed out on the neighborhood dance party (apparently every Monday night!). Cannot recommend enough. Truly!
The house is adorable and in the perfect area!
J. Wes was an absolutely lovely guy. The house was perfect, exactly as the photos look, with really homely touches and decorated brilliantly throughout. The garden is enormous and was the perfect place to relax in the sunshine in the evenings.
We were four guys, and had the perfect amount of space. The kitchen is a great size and had all the amenities we needed such as dishwasher, washing machine and dryer - AND IT HAS A RECORD PLAYER!!! It was perfect for cooking at home, and we enjoyed a few nice meals together, perfect for relaxing.
The neighbourhood was one of the highlights of our trip, and the perfect place to stay in Nashville. So many interesting neighbourhood bars, and great places to eat, with a big supermarket within walking distance (which was perfect as we didn't have car). East Nashville has the best vibe ever, so many creative people, and the street we stayed on was both friendly and relaxed. If I go to Nashville again, I'm messaging J. Wes immediately!!!
J. Wes was very quick to respond. Things were exactly like he said. We only met him briefly (as he was travelling) but seemed very hospitable.
This place was amazing! A beautiful bungalow with four bedrooms (three queen beds and two twins) and gorgeous living and cooking areas. We especially loved the giant backyard and porch! It was close to many restaurants and attractions and a map of suggestions was provided. We could not have been happier!
It was great! Our host was easy to reach and helpful. They live right across the street which is nice. The neighborhood were we stayed had lots of places to eat within walking distance and a grocery store nearby. We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee and a book.
This was a great place to stay. We had a large group with some complicated needs and J. Wes made it easy; everyone enjoyed the space. The East Nashville neighborhood was a great one-- easy walking distance to good coffee, delicious restaurants, and a grocery store.
We arrived on May 4th and had no troubles finding the place. The host lives right across the street and is really easy to get a hold of.
When we pulled up we were all really impressed. The house has great curb side appeal and the neighbourhood is very charming.
The house was very clean, spacious and bright. A great highlight was the big backyard, deck and picnic table. I think the only thing that needs a little love is the bathroom.
Strangely enough while the four of us (from Canada) were staying there the previous owners knocked on our door. The had lived there for 25 years and moved out in 2000. They had a look around and were also impressed with all the renovations that had been made. I think the only thing they recognized was the kitchen stove.
I would definitely stay here again. The neighbourhood is vibrant and there's some great places to eat.
We had a wonderful stay here! Our group loved being able to walk to local restaurants in East Nashvhille, while also only being a quick cab ride to Broadway. Would stay again!
