Interaction with Guests
I say hello to guests and then let them do their thing. I do live just across the street, so I'm almost always on hand and am always happy to help with recommendations.
I love how self-contained the neighborhood is. Some days there is no reason to get in a car. There are often neighborhood parties going on up at Barista Parlour or the Groove record shop. We're quite close to downtown and other nice areas such as 12 South, Germantown and the Gulch. I also love going down to the Shelby Bottoms Greenway (just five minutes away) to jog along the river or ride one of the free bikes provided by the nature center.
The bus stop is a three minute walk away and runs downtown every 15 minutes. I would say I usually prefer taking a ride service such as Uber or Lyft, which are cheap and plentiful around here.
Other Things to Note
Rental Rate includes almost 8 percent in taxes:
Nashville Hotel Occupancy Tax, return #500343
This is a neighborhood of old houses with old windows, so even loud conversation from the front porch late at night can keep neighbors awake. Please no loud music/parties, and thanks for being mindful of this.
