The Space

Come stay at this charming 1928 bungalow in the heart of Nashville's most most walkable neighborhood, just five minutes from downtown.

House has original hardwood floors and is minimally furnished with mid-century and primitive finds. Fully equipped kitchen, great back porch. Three full bedrooms, one with full bed, one with queen, a study with two twin day beds, and a charming safari-esque sleeping nook upstairs. One bathroom.

Walk to some of the best eating in the city, live music, coffee houses, bars, bakeries, record stores, vintage and antique shops. 15 minutes to airport or Opryland, 10 to Music Row.

In recent months East Nashville has been featured as a culinary and style destination by the likes of GQ, The New York Times, and Travel and Leisure. House is very close walking vicinity (5 min) to:

Barista Parlour
Mas Tacos
Pharmacy/Holland House
Fat Bottom Brewery
Edley's BBQ
PRB Butcher
Bar 308
Five Spot (epic monday night soul dance party)
Crying Wolf Bar
Tree House

And is within a mile from:
Silly Goose
Two Ten Jack
Jeni's Ice Cream
Eastland Cafe
Rosepepper Cantina
Wild Cow Vegetarian

Driveway and street parking. Two blocks from city bus stop to downtown. Fenced in back yard.

Expect a tranquil resting place in one of the South's great old neighborhoods.

Interaction with Guests

I say hello to guests and then let them do their thing. I do live just across the street, so I'm almost always on hand and am always happy to help with recommendations.

The Neighborhood

I love how self-contained the neighborhood is. Some days there is no reason to get in a car. There are often neighborhood parties going on up at Barista Parlour or the Groove record shop. We're quite close to downtown and other nice areas such as 12 South, Germantown and the Gulch. I also love going down to the Shelby Bottoms Greenway (just five minutes away) to jog along the river or ride one of the free bikes provided by the nature center.

Getting Around

The bus stop is a three minute walk away and runs downtown every 15 minutes. I would say I usually prefer taking a ride service such as Uber or Lyft, which are cheap and plentiful around here.

Other Things to Note

Rental Rate includes almost 8 percent in taxes:

House Rules

This is a neighborhood of old houses with old windows, so even loud conversation from the front porch late at night can keep neighbors awake. Please no loud music/parties, and thanks for being mindful of this.

+ More

On Fridays and Saturdays the minimum stay is 3 nights.
