The Space

Nice room available on the Upper East Side! The location is perfect! It's on a lovely and safe tree lined across the street from an adorable park and right next door to a beautiful church. It's a close walk to , The Guggenheim Museum, not too far from The Metropolitan Museum, and Central Park. Its a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway which has the 4, 5, and 6 train. The apartment has all hardwood flooring and located on the first floor of the building. Not having all those stairs is convenient if you have a lot of luggage! The kitchen is small but I have a gas stove, a microwave oven, a tea kettle and a blender that you can use and you're welcome to leave anything you want in the fridge! In the entrance room I have a table for eating and a large shelf you're welcome to leave shoes or anything else you need in. The apartment does not have a TV but has wifi access. The only rooms that will be shared with me are the bathroom and the kitchen. I'm a working musician and student so I'm really not home much which means you'll have the apartment to yourself most of the time! The available room is equipped with a queen size bed, a large closet, a comfy couch that can fit 2 people, 2 end tables, an air conditioner, and a shelf for all your things! Linens, utensils, an iron, and a hair dryer are included to make your trip easier! There is a parking garage across the street next to the park and grocery stores a few blocks away. There is also laundry in the building that accept quarters. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the apartment! Please contact me if you are interested in the apartment! I look forward to meeting you!

Check In
  • The apartment is well located and clean. Communication with the host was clear. Good enough to spend one night in NYC.

  • This place is very cute and I love that the entrance to the apartment is across the street from a cute part. You only have to walk a short way down the hall, and Ariel's apartment is the first door! The room is spacious, and Ariel seems to be a minimalist when it comes to the bathroom, so that's great because you share it with her. She's very nice and accessible, but stays out of your way for the most part. The room was hot, but there's and AC unit by the window which helps.

  • My experience with the host was great! I admit, we didn't spend much time with Ariel, we were in town only for the weekend and had a lot to do. :-) Ariel was very nice, very easy to communicate with before and during our stay, and the place was very nice!

  • The Room and also the shared bathroom were very nice and clean. The room had air conditions, which were pretty good!!
We felt really home at Ariel´s house.

The house is very good located. you can walk to the central park and the museums. also the subway is very close by. the neighbourhood ist quiet good.
there are also supermarekts and a very good bakery near by.

Ariel was very nice. We did not see her a lot, but when we saw her she was very handsome and helpful.

If we would go one more time to NY we would choose the same location for staying.

  • The location was fabulous but the room was an interior room very stuffy and hot. We slept on top of the bed with a fan going every night. The floor and the bed were both very squeaky. There is an air conditioner but it is right near the bed, impossible to sleep with it on. We didn't get to speak with the host except when checking in.

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Ariel. The room was large and the bed was comfy and we had A/C! Ariel provided us with towels and use of her refrigerator. Her bathroom was a decent size and had great water pressure and temperature control. Ariel was very pleasant and friendly the few times we saw her. As our first time using Airbnb, we didn't know what to expect and we were very happy with our experience! Ariel's apt. is only about 4 (small) blocks from the subway and central park there are tons of cute restaurants, bars, bagel shops, whatever you need right down the street, we couldn't have asked for a better location. When we go back to New York we would totally stay with Ariel again. We give her 5 Stars, 100% whatever the highest rating possible. Thanks again Ariel!!

  • I had a pleasant stay there. Room was clean and tidy. Great area. Super convenient

  • My boyfriend and I stayed with Ariel for a couple of nights in New York. Ariel was really nice, and made us feel comfortable and at home. The room itself was exactly what we were looking for: a clean and comfortable bed to crash for the night. The neighbourhood is absolutely gorgeous, and it was the perfect place to wake up and find coffee/breakfast in the morning before trekking the city. Thanks again, Ariel!

  • We stayed a week at Ariels place in the upper east side of Manhattan and had a very pleasant stay. Ariel is a very kind person and a very nice, laid back host. The neighborhood is great, just a stone's throw away from the park and the Metropolitan museum of Art and the Guggenheim. Moreover, there are many good restaurants just around the corner. We would definitely recommend it!

Hi I'm Ariel, I'm a student and mainly a full time musician. I currently live in New York City (LOVE IT!) and travel around playing music! Don't worry though, I don't play too much in my apartment :) (I'm a singer/guitarist) I love traveling, music, snowboarding and shopping! My favorite places to travel other than my beloved NYC are Canada and LA! I'm very neat and quiet when it comes to my apartment! As a host I would be happy to show you around to my favorite restaurants in the area and the different activities! I absolutely love New York City and would be more than happy to show you all the things to make you love it too! :) Ariel
