La Chapelle is a fully restored chapel dating back to the 13th century as part of a property that stands on one of the 'route de St Jacques de Compostelle' or way of St James.
The Chapelle consists of a large living room with original stone walls and feature beams, and a kitchen and dining room connected via a one meter thick keystone archway. The flooring is tiled throughout. There is also a separate toilet with a unique handbasin feature on the lower level.
The hand crafted staircase leads to the upper level bedrooms and bathroom. With restored chestnut flooring in both bedrooms and a recycled railing completing the restoration. The first bedroom consists of stone walls and high beam ceilings. The second bedroom is larger, sleeping up to four people. Both rooms are light and airy with beautiful views over the countryside.
A unique stonewall frames the front courtyard, great for when the heat is at its peak. At the rear is the terrace with views across the valley, all under a pergola.
