About This Listing

We will offer you a fully furnished room in our shared flat in the 18th district of Vienna. Right after the 1st and the 19th district, our district is the 3rd most expensive place to live in Vienna. Therefore security and infrastructure is not an issue.
The small but cozy room is available for short as well as longterm rent. It includes a desk with a shelf, a closet and an extendable bed which provides space for a second person. The room is located to the inner courtyard hence you will enjoy silence during your entire stay.
The infrastructure of our flat is close to perfect (U6, 42, 9) and it takes less than 15 minutes to the inner city (Schottentor) or 25 minutes to anywhere else in Vienna.
You will share the flat with Barbara (24y, Law Student) and Daniel (26y, Business Student). Actually we are both from Salzburg but are living in Vienna for several years now. Of course we are happy to give you some insights of Vienna and show you our favorite places as a local. Thus you won't get caught by tourist traps ;-)
On top of the cozy room, we will offer you a balcony with BBQ grill and a couch to relax, a fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, a washing machine, a bathroom with bathtub, a separate toilet and a living room with cable TV and of course WIFI.
If you are interested - don't hesitate to contact us. Looking forward to showing you the beauty of Vienna!
fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, washing machine, international cable TV, sound system in your room, balcony with chill out couch, BBQ grill, free coffee, free WIFI, free printer, free sweets!
(Please don't smoke inside the flat.)
Interaction with Guests
I have quite a busy life, but I have always time for a chat or tee. If you like you can join me and hang out with my friends or do stuff. Please feel free to ask me all those touristy questions, I hope I am able to answer them :)
Our district ("Währing") is besides the Inner City district and Vienna's Beverly hills district ("Döbling") the third most expensive district to own a flat in. So there's no chance you get scared at night walking home alone.
The streetcar stop is (really) in front of our doorstep. It will take you to the heart of the inner city in about 12 minutes. Within a walking distance of 4 minutes you will reach the U6 subway station "AKH - Michelbeuern".
Other Things to Note
Of course you will receive your own key. It is a security key. In case you loose it, I will have to charge you 50 Euro to purchase a new one.
Feel like home but also please behave like home ;-)
If you are a desperate smoker and just can't quit, there is an ashtray on our balcony but please don't smoke inside the flat.
As I am allergic to cats and dogs, please visit us without your animal friends.
You are allowed to use the kitchen and all appliances during your stay but please put your stuff in the dishwasher or clean them after your usage.
Daniel is a great host. He also has a great apartment - quiet, private, and very high quality - and for a great price. Daniel was always there to answer my questions and provide helpful tips on navigating the city. I would definitely stay here again. 5 stars!

Daniel is an amazing host with an amazing flat in an amazing part of Vienna. When I first arrived, Daniel was meticulously cleaning the flat, preparing for my arrival--a cleaning ritual he repeats ever weekend, keeping the flat spotless and extremely easy to live in. In addition, he gives all of his guests a brief orientation of the city and a map, and let me tell you, no one knows Vienna better than Daniel. One night when we were hanging out (Daniel was very fun and very open to inviting me over to hang out with his friends), he literally taught the taxi driver a new way to get around the city. It was unreal. Anyway, the flat is really truly amazing. My room was the perfect size, had a comfortable bed, and plenty of natural light and windows. The temperature was well-regulated thanks to breeze from the windows and a fan Daniel provided. The two best parts of the flat are definitely the balcony and kitchen. The kitchen is not only well stocked, but also very clean and everything works. Daniel made space for my groceries in the fridge and he has a dishwasher which made life much easier. The balcony is shady and cool in the summer and has a pleasant view overlooking a courtyard and a few other nice buildings in the neighborhood. Daniel also has a couch on the balcony for relaxing or doing work in a quiet space. Speaking of the neighborhood, the 18th district might seem far away, but let me assure you that it is not far away at all. The 42 Streetcar stops literally right in front of the flat and takes only 10 minutes to get to the 1st District. The neighborhood is nice and quiet but is close to public transport (the 42 streetcar and the U6) as well as grocery stores, the post office, banks, cafes, etc. A nice 10 minute or so walk away is the Kutschkermarkt, which has vegetable stands, nice cafes, and is close to the 41 streetcar if you'd like to go into the city afterwards. I can not more highly recommend Daniel's flat and will certainly be staying there again myself.
Ich hab nicht genug Zeit, um dieses Empfehlung zu übersetzen, aber ob mann mehr Informationen auf Deutsch möchtet, kann mann mich ein Nachricht senden.
I stayed at Daniel's place for 3 weeks while in Vienna for research. His place was really nice and clean, and in a great location. He was a perfect host, and very welcoming. He was also quite knowledgeable about the city, and gave really good suggestions on what to see while in Vienna. He was always game to do something, or show me around the city a bit. He's very fun and interesting to hang out with. I recommend it for a stay of any length, but especially if you are there for an extended period of time!
Daniel is super nice and always ready to help you and give you some good advice and tips about your visit in Vienna. The flat has space and light and it is very easy to go to the city center and to Schönbrunn.
I would definitely go there again, maybe for my next ttrip in Vienna.
