About this listing
Looking for a chance to unwind or a quiet place to recharge as you enjoy many adventures in Sonoma County? Come check out the tranquility of our quiet, country property. (TOT# 1264N)
Relax and rejuvenate in a peaceful, private studio cottage nestled by oak trees and surrounded by pastures of sheep and cows. The cottage is separate from the main house and granny unit, all of which are located on 2 beautiful acres. Sit back in the hammock and enjoy the sounds of songbirds and watch the dragonflies flit through the garden or jump in the large solar-heated pool (20' x 40’) or hot tub. The cottage is equipped with 1/2 bath, and a shower is available in pool house.
Located just 15 minutes from historic Petaluma, the Cottage provides a glimpse into rural Petaluma life with quick access to great restaurants, wineries, breweries, live theater, antique stores, kayaking, and hiking, without the hustle and bustle. We are about 30 minutes to the beach or Point Reyes National Seashore, and a quick hop to Sonoma or Napa and less than an hour from San Francisco.
Life is quiet here. Come see. Free wi-fi and parking.
Interaction with Guests
We are happy to welcome you to our country paradise and give you lots of ideas and recommendations for dining and activities. Beki is a native Petaluman. Feel free to contact us during your stay, but we will give you plenty of privacy.
Rather than sirens and car horns, you will hear goats, sheep, horses and cows as they graze nearby. We have lots of birds and butterflies. There are no street lights so the neighborhood is full of stars at night.
The cottage is about 4 miles from the nearest bus stop so most guests prefer to travel by car.
