Stirling is a great place to stay, and our house is right in the heart of it. You can visit Stirling Castle (recently voted best visitor attraction in Scotland!) and wander round the fascinating old town, with many buildings dating back to the 1500s. The Wallace Monument is just across the valley - in fact you can see it from the kitchen window! The best TripAdvisor restaurant in Stirling (Green Gates Indian) is 20 seconds away, with other pubs and restaurants nearby. Stirling is great for shopping, with lots of independent shops and all the big high street names. The beautiful Loch Lomond & Trossachs national park is a 30 minute drive away.
I loves staying at Rosa and Greg's. The room is nice and big, cozy, quiet and super comfy bed. Fab location with walking distance to the castle, pub and great curry restaurant just a few steps away.
Greg and Rosa are lovely, warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying with them!
Rosa and Greg's house is great. The room was lovely and big and just as described. It had everything we needed for our stay; the shelves were full of tour guides and games and DVDs, too. Breakfast was great and it was really handy having the little fridge. Rosa and Greg are great hosts; it was really nice chatting to them on our way in and out of the house, and they were full of very helpful local knowledge and suggestions of places to eat. Would highly recommend staying here and would happily come again.
Great place to stay! Rosa and Greg are very friendly and the room and house are very nice.
Had a great stay at Greg and Rosa's, fantastic big cosy room, with bread, milk, cereal, jam, coffee and tea a real class act. Close to shops and the heritage of Stirling, an ideal spot for some relaxing reflection, sightseeing and a little shopping. Would highly recommend the Big Room, Rosa and Greg made me very welcome and were ideal hosts a good advert for Airbnb.
Rosa and Greg's place was really nice! The room has board games. dvd player and lots of dvds (including BBC drama Sherlock! cuz I am a big fan of Sherlock). Very clean and cozy. Also, Rosa and Greg made us feel comfortable. Thanks a lot.
Greg and Rosa's room was exactly as advertised. It's big, quiet, self contained, clean, extremely comfortable and the location is unbeatable. Greg was a personable host with a great deal of knowledge about local history and Stirling castle. The accommodation embodies the airbnb breakfast ideal, all in the comfort of the room. Well worth it!
Very friendly couple, in a really nice apartment, in the centre of Stirling. The room was perfectly furnished with tourist guides, board games, heaters, mini fridge... Breakfast was also good. Perfect experience!
I cannot recommend Greg and Ross's place enough. It was perfect, and the hosts were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, and they kept it stocked with breakfast throughout my stay. It was lovely to be TV-free and to catch up on some DVD's and reading while I was there. Only a short walk to town, and a few minutes up from Tesco. I could use the kitchen if I wished. That really made it feel like a home from home.
Thank you Greg and Rosa for a lovely stay...at an excellent rate.
