The space
This newly renovated apartment offers a spacious, cozy, and tidy one-bedroom lodging complete with a fully equipped kitchen. Situated in the historic Eagle Hill district of East Boston, this residence resides within a historical house constructed in 1855, marking the inception of row houses in Boston to accommodate an influx of immigrants from various parts of the world.

Eagle Hill boasts a rich history, characterized by a grid layout of streets. Its east-west streets are named after battles from the Revolutionary War (such as Saratoga, Lexington, and Trenton), while the north-south streets honor Revolutionary War generals (like Marion, Brooks, and Putnam). This naming convention, established in the 1830s, is fitting given Eagle Hill's pivotal role in the Revolutionary War. It served as the battleground for the second battle of the war when the area was still pastoral land. Notably, the first naval engagement of the war saw American forces successfully sinking a British schooner just off the coast of Eagle Hil.
