Our home is a newly renovated mix of modern and vintage flea market finds. The front of the house retains the original facade while the inside and new addition in the back are open-concept modern. It is on a quiet and safe street.
The house itself is bright with two skylights and floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows facing the garden. We have a big master bedroom with a king sized bed and a vanity/make-up area. Next door there is a bathroom with an old Victorian tub and a modern glass shower. Down the hall past the artist studio is a smaller bedroom with a queen sized bed. The kitchen is open and modern with a 6 burner gas range. There is a TV in the front part of the house room and a fireplace in the back part, overlooking the garden. The fully finished basement has a bathroom with walk-in shower as well as a fully equipped laundry room. It also has an additional large bedroom that can sleep two on a sofa bed. We would charge $50 extra per person. The backyard is fenced in and has a nice deck, table and barbecue to use. There are two parking spots to use behind the house. Highspeed WIFI is available throughout the house and garden.
We are located right next to Trinity Bellwoods Park where there is a nice big green area with lots of trees, baseball diamonds, wading pool for kids in the summer and a modern play area for children.
Our home is within walking distance to every great place downtown. We are in the heart of Queen Street West and a block from Ossington Avenue with great restaurants and bars.
Streetcar stops are close by on Queen St. and King Street, you can also catch a bus on Shaw St. that takes you to the Ossington subway stop.
**If you are looking to book a few months in advance but it states "unavailable", please contact me as we could plan to go out of town when you want to be here.
**If you have allergies please know that we have a dog called Hobo and a cat called Chickpea. Hobo travels with us but the cat will be keeping you company. Fortunately she's pretty independent and you would just have to let Chickpea in and out of the house and fill her food bowl.

It was so wonderful to come to Toronto and stay in a beautifully presented home. The living area, kitchen set up and bedrooms were all superb. We were all from out of town and in Toronto for a family wedding. It was great to have my family around me in the one place. We loved the family cat Chickpea who totally embraced us as well. I give this home as many stars as you can give. Thank you Jamie and Alex (and Chickpea) for making your home such a welcoming place.
The home was everything we could have wanted. Clean, bright and open plan with great thought in the design of the home. Excellent location with easy access to all amenities and quick transit to the city centre. All 5 guests were very pleased with the space and condition of the home. The information provided by Alex and Jamie was accurate and easy to understand. We heartily recommend this home for those who want the convenience of a home away from home. And the neighbours are nice and welcoming.
The house is absolutely beautiful and filled Jamie and Alex are incredibly warm and accommodating. Chickpea is the perfect cat host. The proximity to the park and the Queen streetcar make this a perfect house for a visit to Toronto for a family.
Beautiful home and fantastic location (close to restaurants, shops, park, grocery store, etc). They were really nice and even left us wine and chocolate. Would definitely stay here again, Thank you Jamie and Alex for sharing your home with us!
We were so glad that we booked Jamie and Alex's home for our trip to Toronto. Their home is amazing and made our stay very relaxed and comfortable. They were even kind enough to provide us with essentials like milk and eggs for breakfast since we got in pretty late. The location is very convenient, has easy access to public transit, groceries, restaurants etc and is just minutes away from the park. We also enjoyed the company of Chickpea who is a very vocal cat that loves to be petted. We will definitely stay here again.
Thank you Jamie and Alex for sharing your wonderful home!
Alex and Jamie's house more than met our hopes and expectations. What a great place for us to stay!
It was very clean, nice and bright, uber modern / cool and right where we wanted to be (close to the city, but in a district with a friendly vibe).
Honestly, if we go back to Toronto again (and they'd let us stay) we'd definitely love to be there again. It catered for our large family really well too (2 of us and our 4 children).
