I call my place a "Boatel" because it is a like a "Floating Hotel" or actually like a large RV on the Water. Plenty of room to sleep and relax. The boat doesn't ever leave the dock. You will get to experience living on a boat, but since it is always attached to the dock you will never have to worry about sea sickness! It is less than 100 feet to all the action at Ventura Harbor Village and also to some of California's best beaches. Ask us about having brunch delivered to your Boatel!

The space
Our boat is like a RV on the water and permanently moored at the heart of Ventura Harbor Village. There are 2 staterooms, one full bath with shower and one 1/2 bath. The salon has a futon for extra sleeping and a TV for evening enjoyment. The galley has a full refrigerator, kitchen sink, microwave, electric skillet, crock pot, keurig coffee maker (coffee included), and is fully equipped with other small appliances, plates, glasses, etc. There is a covered deck (fantail) for dining and harbor viewing.

Guest access
You have full access of our boat, but unfortunately it is moored permanently at the dock and is not available to charter. If you would like to rent both of our Boatels, see our sister Boatel - Boatel California.

Other things to note
Remember to pack light. You will be entering your "BOATEL" down a dock and up a set of docksteps. We will give you complete instructions for our marine style toilets, but there are also full restrooms with additional showers and laundry facilities available for marina guests. NEVER, EVER put anything down the Head (toilet) EXCEPT the provided marine toilet safe toilet paper. I know it sounds yucky, but Marine Heads are notoriously sensitive. Most recently, a Paper Towel was flushed and clogged the Head, burning up the motor, rendering it unusable for the rest of the visit. Guests who flush objects down the Head resulting in plumbing problems will be responsible for the cost of repairs. I can't emphasize the importance of this enough. There is a trash receptacle provided for other items like feminine products, moist towelettes, paper towels, etc.

Ventura, California, United States

Ventura Harbor Village is a lively fun neighborhood with lots of great restaurants, shops and even a comedy club directly up the ramp from the Boatels. And the beaches near the harbor are some of the nicest in town. Ventura Harbor is also the best port of departure for visiting the Channel Islands, and is home to the Channel Islands National Park visitor center. Directly outside your Boatel, you have Ventura Boat Rental where you can rent wave runners, kayaks, electric boats, SUPs, etc. If you would like to rent both of our Boatels, see Boatel California on Airbnb or contact is direct.
