Comfortably designed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway on a budget, just steps from the spectacular Caribbean Sea. The community has all the amenities for you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

The space
This is a one-bedroom, fully contained rental unit with a small kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils, cutting board.) You will have your own private entrance and will not share living space with other guests. All the wonderful (shared) amenities of the Santamar community convey: 11 pools (including a rooftop plunge pool one flight up), outdoor grills, tables, chairs, sun loungers, gym, walking trails, etc..

The Santamar community has 24/7 security guard service. There are 2 guard stations on property, one is at our building and the other at the F/G gym/pool building.

Please note: there is no stove/oven in this unit, although BBQ grills are available at the A/B and F/G pools.

Guest access
Most of the time, you will be personally greeted by one of the hosts. Throughout your stay, you will come and go with your own personal key stored in a lockbox.

During your stay
Either we or our property manager are available by phone/text to answer any questions you may have.

Other things to note
The Santamar complex is located at the end of a cul-de-sac gravel road. There is no drive-by or drive-through traffic. Your holiday unit is located at the end of the road. However, there are major resorts located both north and south of this unique hideaway on the peninsula. Part of the charm and wonder of this place is being away from public access.

Renting a car is recommended. A full-service grocery/liquor store is a 20-minute drive away...as is the popular town of Tulum!! Playa del Carmen is 30 minutes by car/taxi/collectivo.

Our place is not suitable for children under the age of 13.

This is Mexico.... sometimes the power, internet or water goes out. Typically, not long (measured in minutes!). In any case, it's always a good reason to visit the beach or the pool!
