Lorenzo, was awesome. He carried my bag up for me when we walked up the flat. He gave me directions to all the places I needed to go and maps. I told him I needed a flight and he helped me get a huge discount!! My flight from Milan to Budapest only €17! I definitely recommend staying here. :)
Lorenzo was very nice! He picked me up from the bus stop and helped me with all my suitcases ;)
He told me to feel at home and I did! It was the first time I've ever used this site and it was a great first experience.
Lorenzo gave me maps and instructions and good advice about the area.
The area was not in the city center but a bus took you all the way to city center and the train station so there was no hustle.
My stay with Lorenzo overall was really good. First, he was super helpful. He provided me with maps of Rome pointing out places to eat and see as well as which buses would take me to those places. He was always able to answer my questions, and didn't seem bothered when I would ask too many. Second, his flat is located very near (10 min walk) the train station that takes you to Fiumicino airport. It is also located close enough to the center of Rome where there are all the tourist attractions. It was a 15 minute tram ride to the center or a 45 minute walk (for me). Last, the room was a nice size, and so was the flat. Usually you'll be staying with other airbnb guests in the same flat because there are multiple rooms. Although there was only one bathroom for several guests, that never became a problem during my stay. He's a great host and in a good location for traveling Rome.
Lorenzo was a terrific host! Very attentive, very helpful, made me feel right at home! Excellent at communication, never did I wonder "how will I get the key", "does he know when I'm coming" etc. The room was clean, the house was clean, bathroom was excellent, a fan was provided for the room (Italy doesn't really do AC and it gets hot in the summer but with the fan, it was fine, and I hate the heat), the kitchen was clean and useful. Really, best AirBnB experience I've ever had! I feel obligated to say something negative just so you all won't think I was paid off or something....the wooden blinds were a bit rickety and required some work to get them unstuck, some lights from the adjacent apartments shined into the room at night...it was really hot outside.
I and my boyfriend stayed this places for 3 nights. We liked this place because it is really nice- the place is good located (we've reached colloseum just in 30mins on foot), everything is clean, the infrastructure is very good (supermarkets, transport, cafes..). And the most important that Lorenzo is very nice host! He explained us everything we need and really helped to catch night bus when we need it:)
Lorenzo was very accommodating! To the point that he even gave me some money back when he realized I was by myself and not sharing the room. That instantly displayed his trustworthiness. Location is good, but I would recommend a quick €8 taxi from the train station if you have heavy luggage. Room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable.
Very professional, heplful and kind host. Apartment was in very good location for all walkers as it is located less than 40 minutes from the city center. In the area there are great, not expensive restaurants like: Casetta di Trastevere, pizza El Ringo. We highly recommend Lorenzo.
