Williamsburg Apartment Central Loc.

Apartment - Private room · South 1st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

The Space

You will get your own queen sized bed in a Williamsburg Apartment. Bed linens and bath towel are included. The room is quite large with a sitting area, drawers and shelves for your bags and things, as well as hangers for your clothes. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and is shared with one other person (me).

I can accommodate up to three people, four on occasion but this is usually quite a tight fit. Two on the bed and one on the sofa which folds out to a full sized bed. Note, your room is not shared if you are only one or two persons, meaning I only take one booking at a time.

Location is fantastic! The apartment is located a couple blocks away (about a five minute walk) from the Lorimer station stop on the L and G train. From there transport to Union Square takes about 7 minutes. Manhattan's 1st Ave. is just two stations away. Also a 7 minutes walk to the Marcy JMZ line for easy connection to LES and Chinatown. Close to the Williamsburg bridge if you prefer to walk or bike across to Manhattan.

Plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, and bars. Easy walk up to Williamsburg's main street Bedford Ave. with vintage shops, music, food, etc. and McCarren park with tennis courts, running track, fields, and yearlong farmers market. During the warmer months check out the food vendors at Smorgasburg on the waterfront every Saturday.

I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

  • My stay was really nice. The aptm is only 10 min walk from the subway and 15 min train to union sq! There are supermarkets and bars around.
Alexandra is a super friendly host, even if we did not talk to much, i felt comfortable staying there!
    Perfect for low cost travelers!

  • Alex was wonderful, she was helpful, sweet, and open for conversation. The apartment was conveniently located in Brooklyn, good food within walking distance, subway, Brooklyn bridge is close for easy access into Manhattan. It can sleep three might be tight fit with luggage. I recommend it. It's simple, nothing more nothing less.

  • A perfectly lovely stay. Alex was great upon my arrival and we literally did not see each other again. The apartment is close to both the M and F trains with easy travel into Manhattan. The bed is super comfortable and there is plenty of space in the room.

  • My brother and I stayed at Alexandras for just one night, arrived late and left early, so were hardly there to be honest.

She was really welcoming and friendly in the brief conversations we had.

Location is perfect, right next to some amazing bars in Williamsburg.

I should probably stop writing my reviews based on bars!

    Thanks for making us welcome.

  • Three of us stayed at Alex's for four days. The apartment is small and minimal, but in a great location. The subway stop is barely a 10 minute walk away, as is a grocery store and many *hip* boutiques and restaurants.

Alex was a great host - she stays in a room separated by a curtain, but keeps to herself and is happy to recommend places if you ask.

Overall, our experience worked perfectly for us. There's a bed that fits two, and a couch that fits one small person. It's a great place to stay if you're only planning to be there to sleep.

  • Alex was very nice and understanding when my flight was delayed and I didn't reach her house until nearly 1am! The flat was clean and tidy with a great location near metro lines. I barely saw Alex after the first morning which made the place almost feel like my own

  • Alex was a very nice host from the beginning till the end. I got there later than i'd told her I would because my flight was delayed and she left me the key at this very friendly bar a few steps from the apartment and she stayed with me on the phone till i got inside to the apartment. And she was extremely patient and nice with me :) the place is very spacious and welcoming. the bed is very comfortable.
