Great! We had everything we needed and the hosts were helpful with booking the taxi. Nice and close to Tuscalona station, and very clean. Thanks again!
Emanuela and Celeste were great hosts. The apartment was easy to find via public transportation and the neighborhood was a good break from the hectic city center. They were very helpful when we were having trouble finding a restaurant that was open and even booked a cab for us when we had to catch a train the next morning. It made for a wonderful stay in Rome.
Spent a lovely two nights in a room in Emanuela & Celeste's large apartment! Though we never got to meet our hosts in person, the communication was very quick and the instructions left for us with towels were very clear. We were delayed an hour into Rome but they had a friend waiting for us to let us into the room. Security is really good and you get your own key to your individual room, which is pretty large and comes with a fan that helps with summer months!
It was a comfortable stay although i did not get the chance to meet the owner of the house the neighbor who gave us he key and showed us around was very helpful. Would stay here again! At first the neighborhood was questionable but after spending two nights I was assured that it was a safe neighborhood we even had beer at the nearby park.
With my girlfriend we spent a long weekend in Emanuela's and Celeste's apartment. The flat is easily reacheable from the train station by underground or bus. With the help of public transport it was also pretty easy to get in the city, we even managed to walk to the Colosseum, it takes roughly 30 mins.
The apartment itself is very nice and spaceous, the room and the bed were also big enough and comfortable. Huge advantage, the flat is on the ground floor, so eventhough the hot weather, you could sleep there prety well.
We got discount cards to a restaurant which is situated only 3 corners from the flat. The food was really good there, you could totally realise, that is not a tourist place, it was full with local people, but the staff was absolutely helpful to pick the most suitable pizzas :)
Unfortunately, we did not manage to meet the girls because of their work, but even from far Emanuela replied to all of our questions and one of her friend also was there in case of any problem would come up.
Generally I would recommend the flat for people, who also wants to see how actually local people live in Rome and looks for a budget accomodation, which is situated quite near to the centre.
Emmanuela and Celeste were out of town during our stay, but the place is as described. The busing to and from the location was the most unappealing aspect of the location. It was about a 30 minute bus ride to and from (or a 40 minute walk since it's a straight shot vs taking all the turns of the buses). The apartment was very clean and everything is provided as listed. I would definitely recommend their location.
